Everything, nothing, and everything between. Good things, bad things, and some just plain mean. Raindrops on roses. Whiskers on kittens. Bright copper kettles. And warm woolen mittens. Brown paper packages tied up with string.

If I had to guess based on your posts on this site, I would say that your folks are probably sick of seeing you spend your limited funds on luxuries while they're paying your bills.

You realize you buy more movies (and movie sets) and have more subscriptions to rental services than many of the posters here who actually have jobs, right? All while crying poverty, I might add.

Perhaps you should just be grateful that someone in your position, who's living off of the kindness of your family and the taxes of hardworking people (many of whom are trying to make ends meet themselves,) gets to watch a television service that many people with full-time jobs can't afford.

And yes, I realize you have disabilities. But that doesn't excuse your attitude or the sense of entitlement I've seen in many of your posts. You complain all the time about being broke, all the while bragging about what new movies you just bought and how many discs you have rented at a particular time and which expensive live event you're about to go to, never showing a bit of gratitude towards your parents, who are still ostensibly raising their 35 year old son.

It had to be said, at least once.

49ers lost and The Seahawks are having their way with the Eagles. Goodbye playoffs.
The Oilers play the Sharks in a bit and they've owned us for forever it seems.
It's been a brutal day so far and it isn't over yet.

Yeah for sure. The highs are extreme and the lows are crushing.
I'm going to drown my sorrows now.

Good luck against the Chargers B2M!

Why do people say things like atm machine, arson fire, drowning death, pin number and so on? I mean really, really?

It absolutely needs to be said and certainly more than once as this could apply to several members here. It always irks me to see people "boo-hooing" about being broke, but have no qualms spending their last dime on something they don't need. I think the term is called " man-child".

There was an armed standoff in a downtown hotel in my town and it just ended with no one getting killed.
I'd call that a good thing.

*edit
The dude wasn't even armed. Just some drunk that wanted attention. There was a lot of hoopla in this, so I'd imagine he's going away for a while.

A couple of weeks ago I was going to do some banking and saw two women leaving the bank I was about to enter. I stopped and held the door open for them them and they were both pleased and said thank you. Before I could walk into the bank, there was another woman who was going into the bank, so I held the door open for her as well. Afterwards I thought to myself "Those women were too grateful. Is being a gentleman such an anomaly?"
Since then, I've had several people hold doors open for me, and at times, my wife and I.
No, courtesy and manners are not dead.
