I miss my fiancee. She went up the coast to visit her parents last Sunday for the week. We had originally planned to go together, but plans changed.

It snowed again today, added another couple of inches to what we already had.

So which months are winter there? Here it's December 21 to March 21 and where I live (New York), it's either extreme cold or extreme hot. It's as if Spring and Autumn lost directions on their way, and only Summer and Winter have GPS.

I had to ship some expensive items a lil while ago and am not feeling too comfortable right now. I've been burned twice in the past. I'm going to be on pins and needles until Monday and I know the stuff has made it.

Last night was 6 out...it felt like a heat wave with it not being -4 or worse. Tonight is back down to -2. Brutal winter and worst i have seen in MA.

OT: Can a credit card company raise your interest rate if you request to close a card with a balance?

I was carrying one in front of me, but it looked like how some women carry their purses.

most of them can raise the interest rate at any time, as long as it's in the agreement you signed (whether online or on paper). it's a dick move, but it's how they can get more money when you decide to close the account and they know they won't be getting anymore of your money after the card is paid off.
