My wife and I went to Deadpool recently and when the movie started, the dude behind me hit my chair. I thought to myself "Accidents happen". Then it happened again, so I turned around and looked directly at him, then went back to watching the movie. The third time it happened, I turned and yelled at him "DON'T TOUCH MY ****ING CHAIR!!" He didn't after that.
A month ago, I went to the new Star Wars movie. The person behind me hit my chair, but all I had to do was turn and look directly at the person. In that case, it was a teenage girl, and it didn't happen again. I'm wondering why people would something like that? The dude at Deadpool and the girl at Star Wars weren't overly huge people that couldn't fit into their seats and felt the need to stretch their legs out and hit my chair. Don't the people that do that, know how aggravating what they're doing is? It took me right out of the movie and I'm not letting that happen. I went to Star Wars at the IMAX theatre and Deadpool at AVX. That means that I am wanting the best possible presentations of movies that I really wanted to see. I would never dream of possibly destroying someone else's enjoyment of movie-going by intentionally bumping their seat. Why do others do it? Is it amusing? Is it a contest to see how far you can push, before getting pushed back? I don't know. It seems pretty stupid to do something to a stranger, and not know what the reaction could be. I only had to stare, or say something. I imagine that worse reactions have happened and I understand why. |

I wish there was a better way to fix records. My name keeps being associated with someone else and I always have to correct it. I've had to apply for a new SSN because of it and pay for credit monitoring. Our last names aren't the same but they take my first and middle and it somehow meshes the records and so far the state won't fix it. I may have to hire a lawyer.
