Two morbidly obese women both with popcorn and candy sat behind my friend and I today at the movies. The sounds coming from these gals almost drove me mental, I wanted to do such horrible things to them. Fortunately the fear of prison buttsex is greater than my disgust for their entire being. I have no idea where to post this but I want to buy some clothes from the UK but they won't ship to usa. So was wondering if there is somewhere I can post this where I can buy the clothes ship it to someones house who lives in the UK, then they ship it to me.

I know it's not blurays but since we have trading score here and I think alot of UK people post here I was wondering if this was possible?

There is a company based out of both Ny and I believe in London. I'll try and find out thiier name.
They also have a west coast base for Japan and San Fran.

You use thier address to get it shipped to and they deliver it.

I had online frieends that imported all the time using them.

Just watched a story on CBS Evening News about musical artists stopping a live performance to tell people to put there phones away and "be in the moment". I used to think being in the moment was awesome and the only way to experience a concert because once I brought out my phone to video a concert, I felt a bit detached. However, my cousin and I were at a concert and she filmed so much but was just as in the moment as anyone and truly wanted to have the memory captured for her to revisit after the show and for years and years later. I can understand that. It's also nice that if you missed a show, you can go to YouTube and watch some really great video captures from the audience. So, I no longer mind it and actually like it. Not sure I think performers should be so uppity with their fans and dictate their opinion so harshly.

If I were to create a Best CIS white male movie thread it'd get locked for the ridiculous thread it is. So then why are minority specific threads looked the other way on, most of the time? Seems to me everyone is preaching diversity and unity, but most of those who speak the loudest for these concepts, have no clue what diversity and unity really means. Not sure who I despise most, authoritarians or hypocrites.

I'm not... I don't even know what you're trying to say. Are you upset that there is no specific thread? Do you feel oppressed? What is your ideal solution for this supposed problem?

I'm a pretty calm person generally and don't want to fight so I'll attempt to explain this in a non-aggressive, non-condescending way.

The difference is, CIS is the norm, straight is the norm and, in the Western world, being white is the norm, since the majority of the population is these things. Only half the population is male but men still dominate the film industry. So, obviously, these people are the ones making most films and also the ones being catered to by most films. It's what most movies default to, hence there isn't any need to give this group special attention because almost everywhere you look you find them.

So basically, if you're a straight white guy you can see your ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation reflected in almost everything that comes out of North America, Europe and Australia. If you happen to be, say, gay/bisexual and want to see same-sex romance in a film, there's very little to choose from so dedicated lists/threads can be helpful in discovering titles that catch your interest, and perhaps also discuss them with other people who share that interest/life experience.
