Yup, that's probably what it is, every time I've had an issue like that it was a firmware issue. Well almost every time but I've owned quite a few BDs over the years, count is a bit misleading there.

After so many minutes of taking it out and putting it back in. The thing worked finally. It was making all these whirly noises. Like it was stopping and going. Whether it wanted to process to play or not.

I have two blu ray players. But the band on the one player is shot. You need to open and close the door like 10-15 times to get it open all the way.

just ordered nightmare on elm street complete collection on bluray from bestbuy, started to look at order history have spent 280 dollars on purchases these past 6 months from best buy.
