Can't believe it was 80 yesterday and snowed several inches today. Just slide sideways when I turned onto my street.

I saw Trolls again today. I wish I saw Shut In again since that's a snowy movie.

hoping i get the "promotion" i applied for at work.

and i put it in quotes because it's technically not a promotion, as in my status would change, but i'd be making more money and get more hours.

Went to a movie theater that didn't have an automated ticket machine and only one employee working the ticket window... so of course he didn't know how to redeem the movie money and the line came to a grinding halt.

Also interesting was the older man in front of us who apparently didn't go there with a movie in mind, just wanted to see something that was playing around that time. But then he kept asking for movies that weren't even out yet. When he finally picked a movie, he wanted to pay with exact change so that took even more time.

Our family has decided not to exchange presents this Christmas season. Everyone is an adult and all the kids are grown. It will be an interesting change, although I am kind of bummed about it. It is just a big change.

Wife and I just buy what we want on black friday and thats our Christmas to each other. We celebrate Christmas just not with the gift exchanging to each other and everybody.

The cops have been at a house a couple of blocks from mine since yesterday. This morning I see one of those hazard trucks there and am wondering if the place was a meth lab.
Coincidently, I see in the news that there's been an outbreak of fentanyl overdoses. A Bro of mine is a school teacher and he said the school did a warning to the kids over the p.a. system.
This town was pretty good when I was growing up here. I hope all this drug stuff isn't a permanent thing.
