Why did I wake up at 4 AM?

Some lady was tailgating me on the freeway this morning. Not trying to pass, just keeping up way too closely. I speed up, she speeds up. Finally I switched lanes because my exit was coming up and what did she do? She gassed it so she could ride the bumper of the vehicle that had been in front of me!

i guess maybe her steering wheel doesn't work so she can't go around?

when someone does that to me, i just start going slower and slower and slower. normal freeway speeds here are 70. if someone's riding my back bumper, i let off the gas until i hit 65, and stay there a bit...then 60...then 55. if they still want to ride closely behind me at that speed, i'm all for it.

i usually leave with plenty of time to spare in case of an accident or unforeseen traffic; so going slower really won't affect my time...just theirs.

Did a leg session at the gym today only two days after a 20 mile run on a trail. Surprised my legs are not more sore than usual but I guess they're getting more and more used to long runs.

I had two separate preorders at Best Buy, both which they initiated the shipping process on Friday, yet one seems to have vanished while the other one arrived today. USPS got the tracking number for pending shipment and then nothing. No further updates. It should've arrived today like the other order. Had a chat with Best Buy customer service and they set up a replacement order, so here's hoping that goes smoothly. Unfortunately, I just couldn't cancel it and buy it at the store since it was taking place during a half-off sale when I ordered it.

since it has a tracking number, go to the post office and inquire about it. they may be able to find out where it is. i have found that their in-house system usually updates, but it doesn't make it to the online site.

The replacement order is now out of stock until mid-January. Seems like they started the initial order without the actual order. Not sure why only my preorder wouldn't get filled when everyone else got theirs just fine.

For TV shows that I buy on disc, I normally save them for one big binge; every episode, every season. But last night I got a super craving for some random episodes of my favorite show of all time: Stargate SG-1. So, I watched a couple before bed. This right here is why I purchase my favorite shows and movies on disc, so I can watch them when that craving hits.

Why is there so much hyperbole on the internet when it comes to movies and video games? Everything either has to be the greatest thing of all time or the worst thing of all time.

This immediately came to mind. But I agree, the internet is so black and white. It's ok to have a little gray.

Ever use electronic grocery store coupons that go on your store card? I wonder if sometimes more than one person puts them together because there are occasionally different coupons for the same item and you can use them all. For example, at Safeway, there's an Odwalla $2 off e-coupon and a buy one get one free e-coupon. And it's already on sale in the store for $2.50 each. So I got two of them for 50 cents total!

I have yet to see a single movie by Lawrencre that I didn't like at least a little. Expecting to love this one, it seems right up my alley.
