and that was definitely a laughable moment. first, not realizing how to measure something that was longer than the tape measure he had. then, not even having one long enough when he works at a place that sells them, lol.

i have a 6' tape measure that i try to remember to take with me when i go to a home improvement store, just in case i need to measure something.

i try not to go to the home depot closest to me as it's in a not-so-favorable town. it's not as bad as some around here, but it's still not one of the best. so i go to the lowe's that's a bit closer. and while it's not the best, there are a couple people there that i usually see. and they are more then helpful and always, always, always, speak to everyone they see. i mean, they say something to every single person they walk by. whether it's just a, "hey, how you doin'?" or a, "anything we can help you with today?" they always speak to every person they see. so if i need help with something, which is rare, i will actively seek them out for their help. it's the people like that, that keep customers coming back. some of the others, not so much. it's like you ruined their day by coming in and buying stuff.

Kip, school will help at any age. You could start at the community college and go from there. I am also 90% sure you can get a Pell Grant. That is money for school that you do not have to pay back ever! It really is to your advantage to go to school. It will open a lot of doors for you.

Facebook is more for family and close friends, and other stuff too; games, and adds.
Twitter is more for fake news and people with high caliber jobs, like running countries, the world, ruling the adds.

Instagram is great for sharing pictures, videos, etc. ...Companionship, loyalty, admiration, love, close encounters of the human kind.

I always thought of Twitter being for celebrities. I guess when I first started hearing about it, it was because of celebs tweeting. Pretty soon, like JT said in The Social Network, we will all be living on the internet.
