i have enough stuff i gotta keep up with. i certainly don't need another keyring to add to the mix.

truck key
house key
shop key
trailer lock key
hitch receiver key

that's all the keys i have and that's enough.

now, i do have a duplicate of all of those on a separate keyring. but it stays in the house and doesn't go with me. it's just in case i lose my primary set.

When I was still working that office job a mere 2 days ago, I kept my office keys separate from my normal keys. Mainly because my car key is actually a remote and probably worth at least $300.

I was supposed to turn in all my keys at my termination meeting but I only gave them 1 of the 3. Pretty sure 1 of the 2 keys I kept doesn't work anymore anyway and the other one you need to be inside the building to use anyway. Just a tiny bit of parting spite from me to them.

Just finished brushing my teeth, time for my final weightlifting session for the next two weeks, always cut back on the weights the week before and the week after I run a marathon.

Yup and considering it's never come up at any other job or at any other place, it's just trumped up stuff to get rid of me. I get that it can be considered harassment but eh.

the one i have is slightly different, though. the pin that goes through the hole in the square part? i use a locking pin instead of just a standard pin with a clip. on mine it requires a key to remove it. like this...

Sadly I stumbled across some streams doing what I’ve now discovered is called ASMR. People are throwing money at other people for making noises and telling stories. I’m glad I’m out of touch. Holy ****.

So I need to call my dentist tomorrow and cancel my appointment. I was only fired on Thursday but they said they refunded me my insurance premiums so I am betting my dental insurance is already gone. Oh well, at least my teeth tend to be in excellent shape and I've already gone this year.

Can you appeal the dismissal? Did you receive any warnings before they fired you?

No, all of this seemed to come out of the blue based on what he’s said in a couple of threads Blu Titan. Although butting heads with coworkers and constant trips to HR in the past probably didn’t help his case either.

I’m not sure when your dentist appointment is Batman1980? But call your insurance to see if that visit is covered.

It wasn't completely out of the blue but it was definitely a railroad job as even my supervisor noticed some of the stuff (she didn't hear all of it) was definitely made up. I only made 1 prior trip to HR to complain about that loud and annoying co-worker. That's the only co-worker I've ever complained to HR about in the whole time I've been in the workforce. I do admit, I always knew my lack of popularity with those higher than me would catch me eventually and it did. I also would've tried to fight it but my guess is in a he said, she said scenario I lose and that job wouldn't be worth the stress. The dental visit I could take or leave. I've already been in January and twice a year is a bit much. By the time January rolls around I should have brand new dental insurance and I can go then.

Did HR even have evidence to back up the claim, because if what was claimed wasn't true then it's unfortunate that they fired you? It would be as if you're guilty until proven innocent. It's probably much easier to let it go, but this is why people and companies get away with things all the time that they shouldn't. Plus having the fact that you were fired on your record does not help you.
