I think you misinterpreted his post. He said someone might complain to management, he didn't say he was going to.

He did misinterpret. I wouldn't dream of jeopardizing my 24 year career for something as trivial as being tired of saying Good Morning lol. He's been under a lot of pressure himself lately so I don't fault him for thinking I'm an ungrateful douche

Speaking of being “under pressure”. New job starts on Monday and I’m really hoping it goes well. It has been forever since I’ve been on the sales floor and lead a team. They call it a lead position, but it sounds more like a step up to supervisor than that.

Hopefully everyone is cool and we work well together. So stressing about the unknown. On the bright side, my wife seems happy. Hopefully it is because of me landing a job and not so much me being out of the house

Wondering why this dollar pay difference is eating at me. I’m trying to give the store manager the benefit of the doubt that maybe they overstepped on the starting pay. That, or corporate is apprehensive on who he’s hiring since the last person was a flake. Apparently he had to have the police get involved getting the store key back from this guy. If there’s a bright side, I’m not that big of a **** up

Less than 2 hours of this wretched work day. I hate mandated overtime on the weekends especially after working 120hrs duringthe week.

Which is better and what makes it better, the Delta Universal series Shower Valve or the Moen Sweat Connect Shower/Tub valve series?

I have to select one and install prior to closing up the wall and I don't have any preference for the compatible shower levers from each company. I want the best valve, inside the wall, that will last longer than I own this house, and everyone has their favourite, Delta or Moen, but no reason as to why that company is better.

Thoughts?

I’ve no direct experience with that ^, sorry. Both good brands though.

Last night before shift we had our weekly safety meeting and holy cow did the Mine Ops Superintendent get lambasted. It was relentless and I started to feel bad for him. But otoh, it wasn’t undeserved. They prove time and again that production is ahead of safety.

No tree trimming this weekend for the first time in months. This is a shocker since i’ve been doing it every weekend (Sat. & Sun.) I feel kinda guilty. I feel like a lazy bum right now.

Okay.....I sort of lied. I went to my backyard afterwards and saw some tree branches that I could trim. Ended up dumping about 60 pounds worth, which is a small load.
My weekend yard work streak continues......
