A film that will likely come down to it's self-awareness. It either needs to do everything with a wink and a nod or put it's head down and go for it along the lines of Death Race.

90% seeing this just because of Lena Headey.

Just saw the trailer for this and thought it looked great. Gonna take my youngest brother to see it on friday, any sex scenes I should be warned about? I'm more comfortable with him seeing killing than sex lol.

It's Rated R for strong disturbing violence and some language, so it doesn't look like it. I doubt they have time for sex during the purge

I'm seeing it with The Intership at some point this weekend. I'm gonna try to go for my first ever FOUR movies in a row.

Hit the Sundance to see Francis Ha and Kon-Tiki, and then drive over to the regular theater and see the other two.

I still have my doubts, but I will give it a whirl. Never know when something could be good.

I'll never understand America's acceptance of Violence but not of Sex when it comes to films. Which one would you prefer to see your child grow up to eventually do: injure/kill someone or make love/have sex with someone?
