Nice to see some of the '60s titles coming from the new MGM deal are ones previously unavailable due to rights issues. Out of respect for the Insider, no questions here, just really hoping one of those titles is the 1961 film Goodbye Again starring two of my favorite actors of yesteryear, Ingrid Bergman and Anthony Perkins.

To my knowledge, these are one-time Twilight Time titles previously released on DVD by Kino (I've removed those already ruled out, like Hound of the Baskervilles):

Lilies of the Field
Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia
From Noon Till Three
Remo Williams
Runaway Train
The Train

The World of Henry Orient
I Want To Live
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

I've emboldened the ones I think are most likely. Perhaps worth noting that Alfredo Garcia and The Train got 2 runs from Twilight Time, so that may factor into Kino's thinking.

So no one thinks one of the MGM UHDs could be The Terminator, eh?

I’m still convinced Scream Factory or Arrow has that one

It was acquired by a label (not Shout), but they ended up dropping it when they realized a new HDR transfer would need the supervision and approval of James Cameron, who's too busy with his Avatar films. Fox waited for over a decade for him to supervise new transfers for True Lies and The Abyss.

I'm going to assume it wasnt Criterion then, as they've shown that they are willing to wait years for a director to be involved.

Kino Insider--

Are any of the MGM titles to be overseen by Walt ones that he was originally planning to release himself from his prior MGM deal? I know there are some titles still unannounced and was wondering if, due to his health issues, they've made their way over to KL.

I'm hoping Bring Me The Head of Alfredo Garcia and Lillies of the Field are among the two. I never got around to buying either of the TT versions. Wonder if any of the Bronson MGM owned TT films are a possibility?

I'd figure that Arrow would want to port over their release of "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia". Though, one does to wonder if they simply don't have US rights or maybe there could be a potential issue with "Man of Iron" being on the Criterion release of "Straw Dogs".

Film Noir does very well for Kino - does that mean we're likelier to see a film noir hit UHD before something like Runaway Train?
