Official Custom Theme Creator 1.50

Download the latest version of the theme creation pack to give your PLAYSTATION 3 a unique look.

On April 2, 2009 Sony Computer Entertainment Europe released version 1.50 of the Theme creation pack for PLAYSTATION 3. The latest version lets you create different themes for different times of the year, as well as including all the latest icons that have been added to the PS3 Home Menu as part of the system software update 2.70.

Download more information from eu.playstation.com, where you will also find a link to the latest version of the theme creation pack, and visit PlayStation Store to download existing Themes created by game publishers for a touch of inspiration.

I haven't installed a new theme yet....

but if anyone doesn't know...it seems like you go into theme settings and hit the install option at the top....

I've played around a little and found a theme I'm really liking....
it's the NFL~ all the icons are represented well with various themes for football, and the background can be changed out easily to any of the teams.

It's still a work in progress, but it's been utilized into my PS3 and works really nicely. There's still more icons to tool with, some that'll get some minor fixes, and I plan on a bit more detail for the background while still having a somewhat easy way of changing teams and team colors.

And yeah, I'm a Browns fan.

You specify that in the .xml file. You can have up to 26 if you really want (a_HD - z_HD). If you have more than one it's random each time you boot up the PS3. Of you can not have any at all if you want.

We are working hard to make sure that all of the themes on our site can be downloaded directly from your ps3 browser.

Some of the themes were not created with HD wallpapers. You should check out the ratings and comments on our site. Usually to be a top rated theme, it would have to have HD wallpapers. A lot of them have multiple wallpapers so that they randomly will display different wallpapers every time you start your ps3. You can also keep clicking apply to cycle through the different wallpapers.
