I actually like the sound on the Batman one.

I found the Batman sounds annoying. I really wish that with themes you could individually pick just the wallpaper or just the sounds or just the icons or whatever.

Agree. But most of the time I ususlly change the background and keep the icons and sounds.

Yeah same here, I just wish it was easier to mix and match.

You know you can turn the sound off, right? I know it's not the same as choosing which sounds, wallpapers, icons, etc. (mixing and matching), but it's something.

Yeah but I like the normal clicking sounds. I don't want to turn them off entirely. I just wish that, for example, I could have the Batman theme but keep the default sounds.

with all the talk of sound on themes... Am i missing something? Do dynamic themes have sound? I didnt notice any, in fact, think they would be better with sound! Or is there only sound on some themes?

The Wipeout dynamic theme had the regular sounds, but themes (dynamic or regular) can change the sounds of when your moving around the XMB. Some work, some don't.

Not specific to dynamic themes. If you want an example, check out the Batman AA theme (free). It changes the sound of the "clicking" in the XMB unless you have that sound turned off.

You know, I saw the Motorstorm one. I was thinking that it'd be cool to get a free Batman one where it was a Batmobile sitting there while Batman is walking around working on the car and messing with gadgets or something.

If I request a Kurosawa film theme, you would do that? Would you require submission of pics?
What kind of sound clips would you require? Format? Size restriction?

I used to have one from Yojimbo that I found on the internet. I think I somehow managed to find that picture of Toshiro Mifune and Tatsuya Nakadai squaring off in HD. I got the Toshiro Mifune half of the pic as my av.
