Did you convert them to 192kbps MP3?

Damn! This is showing in my local 4K theater this weekend and next just 7:00pm showings!

I know what I'm doing next week! Psycho was fantastic on the real Big Screen.

SO I am sitting here syncing the theatrical audio (courtesy of the LaserDisc) to the 4K, which is rather tedious and it falls in and out of sync. Interestingly, during the "Redrum"/"Danny's gone away" scene, the heartbeats are not synced up to the scene in the same way in the new audio mix. In the new mix, they are a split second later; this is clear because the dialogue remains in sync between the two tracks.

Not really anything too important, just a small change that is likely a mistake.

Edit: typed "audio" when I meant "dialogue"

The new transfer being on the BD as well has got me curious. Us Brits are getting the E.U. cut on the BD.

I wonder if we're getting the old disc instead or if WB have cut the new transfer down?

Tedious. Asinine. Either one would be applicable in a scenario where someone is doing this.

In response to your asinine post. I present to you the analogy of the old masters, and do you believe their works be continually altered across time? Answer no. Sit down pal.

What's asinine? I was simply making an observation. I thought it was a rather funny mistake. Seems perfectly natural that it would go unnoticed, and I see no reason to assume it is a change made intentionally.

Or perhaps, just maybe, the laserdisc heartbeats were out of sync with the actual/original theatrical release and they didn't want to admit it to the public, but then it was FIXED on the 4k!
Chicken, or the egg... can't really say which came first.
Hah! Check and MATE, brotha!

Well excellent, all I need is a LaserDisc copy and a way to rip LaserDiscs.
