And yes, I will be watching the 'Theatrical' cut as they are now terming it over the US cut going forward. |

Of course and if one wants a bare-bones release of each Kubrick 4K to place in a previous steelbook, box-set then great or just wants the 4K case alone, go for the cheapest option.
But that it is more expensive has no relevance if one sees value in its content. I am pleasantly surprised by the content of this little slip. Yes it probably all will sit in the slip and hardly ever come out but its nice tat. |

I really like the fact that both cuts are in one set.

For someone who may never switch over to 4k blu-ray, is the USA UHD release worth buying just for the remastered 1080p disc to replace the 2007 blu-ray? Is it a big step up in picture quality?

I've decided that I'm finally going to give this movie a shot. Is the 4K the definitive release? Does it have strange color grading or sound effect swaps like the Batman '89 disc had? I haven't upgraded yet, but earlier today I convinced myself that I will sometime in the future. Strange how recently I was discussing to a friend how I would never upgrade and here I am...

I would purchase the 4k release, swap out the 2k disc in the older case then you can sell the 4k disc and the digital code separately, and make your money back!.
