It looks much better than the de-aging process they used at the beginning of X-Men 3

I thought so too. It's some of the best tech to de-age people I've seen. Looks like it could be up there with Benjamin Button

The only time I thought it looked a little weird was when he first him and Sam first meet in the game world. Otherwise I thought it looked just fine. They've had enough time to work on all of it, so I'm sure it will be fine.

Anyways, I enjoyed the new trailer. Looking forward to seeing this in December.

I agree, and not only that, but the more bits and pieces I see of this movie (especially those in the new trailer), the more I do not want to see it...something else that's already bothering me, are the characters of the two young ones (Sam and the girl)...they have that "new-age" wimpy, plastic, soft & spoiled (a.k.a. "I haven't worked a hard day in my life") look, that is all too typical of today's films, and another major factor in why I don't bother going to the movies anymore...1982's "Tron" is one of the greatest movies ever made in my opinion, so while everyone else is out at the theater watching the new flick, I'll be sticking with, and happily enjoying, the Blu of the original when it's released in November...

Just saw the proper looking trailer, I like how we seem to be seeing very little of the action, leaving a lot of the action for suprise, yet enough to get us excited.

That trailer was pretty sweet and gave me chills. I admit I like the teaser trailer a bit more since there's more of a buildup in that one, but I'm still really impressed by what I'm seeing. I'm glad they're not being too spoilery with this ad campaign. The CG used to de-age Jeff is, for the most part, excellent. If nothing else, this film will be sleek eye candy (though, of course, I want it to really deliver in plot and characterization, too). Bring on December!

i guess this is a comic book or cartoon or something, ive never heard of Tron before but this does look pretty cool plus Garrett Hedlund is the leading character dunno how they got him to look so young though, he was just in death sentence and looked 35, he looks like hes 17 in this

I suspect SDCC will breathe a sigh of relief once this movie actually comes out...

Tron was a videogame. This was one of if not the first films based on a video game. I highly recommend watching the original film from 1982. You should be able to find a copy for rent from Netflix or Blockbuster. The effects for it's time were groundbreaking. In fact several people at Pixar have cited this film as a big influence on them. I remember seeing this on the Disney Channel when they went on air on cable. I used to have this recorded on a Beta Max tape. Holy crap do I show my age, lol.
