Yeah, whenever I have posted any links from that website it will only last a very short time before it no longer works.

I guess they do not want people linking to their site so that is probably the reason that it happens.

Preorder tickets went on sale at the best IMAX near me. Lately this one has been getting the shaft for featured films but its getting Tron! Figured I will order my tickets within the next week or two. Wonder how big the midnight crowd is going to be.

There were a few 1/2 second glimpses of stuff not yet seen in any of the trailers.

The way Olivia's character laughs makes her sound like a video game character....although the movie is about a video game world.

Naturally, I can't help but watch it. It looks incredible. Heaven must be like that - only without the deadly games.

After hearing the familiar line spoken by the Clu toy, "Out there, is our destiny." I am beginning to wonder if Clu, like the MCP, wants control of the outside world.

I am expecting to see biblical similarities in the rebellion of Clu, wanting to "be like God" and all that exciting stuff. So, if you want some real back story, read the book of Genesis until you reach Revelations.

So, Clu 2.0 has gone rogue and it's up to Sam to save everyone. For any doubters about how the "younger" cgi Kevin Flynn/Clu 2.0 looks all I have to say is WOW!



Daft Punk's soundtrack will be released on Dec. 6th. Apparently the U.K. gets a 2-cd & poster deluxe set, but Amazon has it up on their website listed as an "import" for $37. I just pre-ordered it with a release date of Dec. 14th.

The new trailer really didn't do anything for me. It's more of the same, and I still have doubts regarding the quality of the "story" we're going to be getting. Right now Disney seems to be selling the picture on nothing more than its special effects, which while impressive, aren't going to cut it for this fan. Not to make a direct comparison, but the 2nd and 3rd "Matrix" films were loaded with special effects, yet they were terrible films in comparison to the original, because their stories were weak.

I still have a strong feeling that this sequel is going to be a "watch it once, and then never again" type of film.

The original storyline was never considered strong. It's actually a good story that gets lost in the FX. The TRON movies are a blend of Fantasy and quasi-reality. You need to be a techo-junkie / cyber geek to fully appreciate the strong impact it has on people. In short, reality show junkies will not appreciate these movies. Some people just don't "get it". Their loss.

Any movie with a cult following can't be all that terrible. But you probably have to be a cult member to fully appreciate it - unless you convert.
