Out of that list of possibles, Fallen Angel, Whirlpool, The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Barefoot Contessa, Miss Sadie Thompson, Lilies of the Field, and Moby Dick will get my money.

Speaking of which...

Scorpio just got my money.

I'm intrigued by Broken Lance, but I've spent enough on Blu-rays this month, and I'm inclined to think that I can wait indefinitely to buy this title. I'll probably pair it up with Mysterious Island next month.

In terms of cost the direct site is slightly cheaper for shipping in general if you compare.

The only other notable difference is that we are able to ship about 2-3 days before SAE, as we ship directly from the same facility that manufactures the discs, while they have to be trucked to SAE and stocked before shipping can begin.

Well, I just tried to order directly, but it says there's a problem with my credit card, yet...it's hit my card both times I've attempted !?!?

Just went with Screen Archives instead. My 15th successful order. A $.36 difference isn't worth the aggravation.

I've used both a few times and it's truly a 6 of 1 type thing. Neither is great with communication and neither has shown consistent predictable behavior.

I will say the TT got my Vampires disc to me 3 days before the street date and long before a lot of people got theirs. I also got it in the mail 5 days before I got my 'shipping confirmation' email from them.

Don't expect all of those in 2016. Some of those will surely be 2017 or even 2018.

Gleaned from several FB posts, or interviews, etc. of TT reps. Most of them have links to the source. I've edited the list several times as they've revealed titles.

This is a very good question. As stated by others, Mysterious Island was one of the first TT titles released. Not too many people knew about it. It lingered for several months. This new release (3,000 copies and not 5,000 I'm pretty sure) may or may not be a new transfer, may or may not have "got to have" extras, and we just don't know the demand. Although I think it won't sell super fast I wouldn't wait. A lot of people screwed the pooch waiting on this one or just not knowing it was available the first time around. Plus, I highly doubt it will be released again on blu-ray.

I want to get Where The Sidewalk Ends (1950). I love Dana Andrews and Gene Tierney. Wonder if we'll get the other titles that are out in the U.K. like Fallen Angel and Whirlpool too?

Wasn't there a column in the link provided by dsman71 saying these titles would be released in 2016? I thought pretty much all of them said that. I certainly could be wrong

The column says that, but honestly very few of the sources are that specific. I've copy/pasted the "Coming 2016" text for convenience more than anything. Really it shouldn't be there at all, IMO.

That's actually a relief. There are seven upcoming titles that I want just from the officially announced list and another ten (at least) that I want from the unofficial list. My wallet can't take that kind of hit all at once. I'm also running out of shelf space. Yeah, I know, FWP

I'm having enough trouble tracking down rental copies (either physical or streaming) of several titles I've never seen of just the officially announced titles. I just don't have the $ to blind buy more than 2-3 films a year, and that's not just isolating it to TT titles.

OK, looking at the Wikipedia list again, some of these were added since I last looked at it a couple days ago (and added the 3D titles mentioned on HTF).

I removed these as they seem to be part of the True Lies / Abyss trolling (not even listed in the correct alphabetical order):

SpaceMaster X7 (1958)
Mutiny in Outer Space (1965)
Caltiki, the Immortal Monster (1959)

Other titles I've tracked down the sources of their confirmation. I've also removed the "Coming 2016" note where a release year was not indicated.

That leaves the following with no official source that I can track down (FB, HTF, Nick Redman interview):

The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds (1972) - There seems to be a lot of online chatter about TT having this title, but I can't find a valid source.

I Want to Live! (1958) - I've left this one on the list with the note "Based on Kino DVD-only release", since while this has not been confirmed, every other MGM/UA that got a Kino DVD-only release has come out on BD via TT.

Whirpool (1948) - I cannot find a source for this one, but I suspect it was confirmed somewhere along with the other Preminger titles that had a FB confirmation.

We're very sorry about the shipping confirmation email delay. Unfortunately, Cinram had a systems issue we were unaware of that was not sending tracking numbers to our own. We have implemented additional backups into our process to ensure this doesn't happen again.

If you have any issues with communication, please feel free to PM with any feedback, we are always striving to improve.

I am considering going on a buying binge this month and might snag about 10 Twilight Time's and maybe 10+ Code Red/Scorpion titles from SAE this month alone. Of course with only $1200 for a budget I might have to wait a month or so on a few of them because of Mondo steelbooks and some imports I am eying from the UK & Germany

That list theory could be all of 2016. At 5-6 titles per month , I think its feasible that many of them could come out this year. Of course plans do change, things do happen. But thats just 23 titles..TT releases 50-60 a year as far as I can tell

Did someone actually post Caltiki, Spacemaster X7 and Mutiny in Outer Space on *TT Wiki* today too ? Id love all of those movies, someone must read my wishlist posts or something haha

Glad someone took down The Abyss and True Lies, TT has ZERO chance of getting any Cameron films

I believe TT DID confirm I Want To Live at some point this year

Ya, it was an early title so it sold a lot slower as not as many people knew of the label yet, just like their first release of Fright Night even took five or so weeks to sell out. Plus, Mysterious Island also had a higher price-point at $34.95 if I remember correctly, which deterred some sales, I'm sure. The higher price definitely made me hold off for a while, but I still got one before it sold out. I can see another 3,000 run sell very fast this time; a 5,000 run may get stuck in that limbo we've seen recently where half the units sell really fast and then it kind of hits a dead end for a while.

I know it doesn't really matter at the end of the day, but shouldn't the listings on here for Twilight Time titles stop saying that they are Screen Archives Entertainment exclusives since you can buy them from Twilight Time directly?

I've used the direct site for my last couple of orders (ordered Broken Lance and Scorpio yesterday) and, so far, have been very pleased with the site. I like it much better than the Screen Archives site, easier to maneuver, log-in, order, etc.
