In all seriousness, loved everything about Georgia but the humidity. I was slotted in a sweet spot weather wise for Pre-Ranger/Ranger School before I busted my ankle and got sent down the road in 92. Biggest regret I had was not sucking it up, but I kept re-injuring it. Last time I was stepping off a curb taking one of my soldiers to the dentist. Still took his sorry ass to his appointment despite the pain. Little ***** had the nerve to ask if we could stop by Burger King to grab something to eat. a back injury is no joke. a good friend of mine has 2 crushed discs in his back and he's trying to get on disability. i can tell he's in pain every time i see him.

That's what I have ( couple of crushed discs, in the back and neck ), I'm a 100% Disabled Veteran due to a couple
of back jumps I had while in the 82nd Airborne..

Chronic pain is a ***** to live with ( wait I can say shit but not b^tch ?

), sometimes dong the simplest
thing can just make the back feel sooo much worse.

Which is what happened Sunday....

You mean Battalion? I was cadre (permanent party) at the 4th Ranger Battalion in Fort Benning from 87-90 and 2/75th Ranger Battalion from 91-92. I had some shit shows in between and at the end of my career. I had a slot for Pre-Ranger/Ranger school, but busted (didn't break) my ankle a few months before I was suppose to go.
