Just submitted my annual performance self-assessment. Basically I crushed it this year, and I didn't hold back at all in describing that. They can knock me for hubris, but not for performance. I've been killing it.

circling back. I pulled the trigger and applied for the MS in Finance & Economics online program at West Texas A&M. Hopefully starting in the spring. It's all online and I can do it at any pace I want. Reviews of the program are good, and some of the faculty have done interesting research.

Looking forward to diving into that in a few months.

There is one major advantage to grad school over undergrad. Usually there's no faffing about with "official transcripts." For the most part they'll accept unofficial transcripts. Which is helpful if you're like me and have attended 7 different universities at one time or another over the last 14 years or so.

The college has this odd recommendation letter form, but I can't figure out if it's mandatory or just provided as an aid. Hopefully they reply to my inquiry quickly.

New release Tuesdays are always agonizing in the morning. I'm sitting at work going through the motions waiting for my lunch break so I can secure copies of the Star Trek Beyond Target exclusive for me and a member on here as well as two steelbooks of the new Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. That won't allow me enough time to go pick up my Star Trek Beyond steelbook from Best Buy, which means I have to wait until after work tonight to grab that and HOPEFULLY the steelbook for The Polar Express. On top of all that, I'm suffering from a bad cold/allergies hybrid that has plugged up my right ear.

So, what am I doing right now? I'm just waiting...and really wishing my ear would unclog itself from the umpteen different meds I'm on.

Hopefully you were successful in scoring copies of the exclusives. I used to source on another board so there would be times when I did the same thing. There'd even be times when I was out doing deliveries and would sneak down there to grab copies but that was only when it was for an exclusive.

Right now just browsing BR and checking out the IMDb boards for Operation Valkyrie (German). First thread I'm reading is asking if Col Stauffenberg was a coward for not attempting to kill Hitler in a suicide attack.
