I'm about to have dinner right now. I'm able to slowly re-introduce more solid foods, so yay!

I also just set my follow-up appointment with the surgeon for early April to see how I'm progressing and probably get my stitches out (they would've dissolved already, I believe, if they were those kind... plus, with all the nerve damage and such, it was a more involved surgery). I hope that goes well. Luckily, the cost of this was included with the surgery.

I'm also tending to my mother. She's still receiving wound care for that procedure she had recently. Unfortunately, something else was discovered and treated, which involved carving into her again. As you can imagine, she's in a bit of pain right now. I'm helping her to be as comfortable as I can, and doing what I can even though I'm recovering, myself. It kills me to see a loved one hurting.
