I think it's because they release so much more then VS why it may not be worth it. Sure some may buy into a program like that but I'm betting for most part the majority wouldn't simply because they may not want every single release from SF, I know I don't. I just pick & choose the ones I want.

yeah now that i think about it your right and i agree with you 100 percent .. When Shout/Scream was releasing titles more scarcely almost every title was a most own and now they release so many titles and most are IFC films that nobodies ever heard of so its hit or miss on them and their still extremely high in price so yeah id prob have to pass on a majority of them but Serpent And the Rainbow, Army Of Darkness, The People Under The Stairs, Nightmares, Jacks Back, The Guardian, The Car, Sonny Boy Just to name a few upcoming and newer must owns for me but as far as Hellions, Zombie Fight Club, Contracted Phase II, And Over Your Dead Body..These titles I've never even heard of so they wouldn't necessarily be top priority for me to put money down just because there a scream factory title.

Default Omg!

Just saw this over at Ebay, man oooohhh man what a total hack job. This seller is actually trying to pawn this off as legit and sealed SF release. Click on the image further down in the item description, it shows the back of the case which is even worse! Its obvious that this is the slipcover inserted into a dvd case. I hope someone doesn't actually pay tne asking price for this steaming pile.

hahaha wow no time put into that whatsoever even with the carelessness to not even come up with a blank blu ray disc to put it in the big DVD symbol and the case alone wouldn't fool anybody... But whoevers selling that item they are right about one thing that most definitely is an OOP being that disgrace was never released in the first place by scream factory or any other company it truly is a one of a kind and not in the good way lol

This kicker is the back of the case clearly has the cutout where the UPC would normally go for a slipcover, and the seller does such a shotty coverup. The seller thinks using a black case will hide the cutouti, but it clearly does not.

I pre-ordered The Garbage Pail Kids and The Car from Amazon with some other stuff. I've never seen The Car.

Pretty much.

Just looked it up and it says it will play on Region A players which is awesome. I think I'll import it but want to read about the audio first. I hear some versions don't have the original audio for some of the dialogue. Like when the zombie in the beginning says "BRAINS!".

Does the announcement of Carpenter's Village of the Damned signal a new Universal deal perhaps? I'd be surprised if this one was carried over and deliberately not announced at SDCC or on Halloween. Infact, I'm wondering if this was the deal Scream said they couldn't quite close in time for Halloween.

I called him out on it and got this response - "It is new. This is how I bought it. The plastic case is shrink wrapped and slipped into the cardboard sleeve."

If that's how he bought it, then he's even dumber than we thought.

I reported it to eBay, but I'm completely unsurprised that the auction is still live. I can't decide which I hate more - eBay or PayPal. They're both so much worse than they used to be.

I used to sell all the time on Ebay but they became so ridiculously biased in favor of the buyers over the sellers. When it comes to scamming or bullshitting people, the buyers had the edge and Ebay would almost always favor them.

That's why I would always mail things out with a tracking slip. That way if they claim they never received the item, so long as it was scanned and updated on the USPS website it was now the Post Office's responsibility.

Yeah, I used to do a lot of buying and selling on eBay, going back to probably 1996. As a buyer these days, it's rare that I find exactly what I want from a reputable seller at a decent price, though it does happen. I've probably made about half a dozen purchases in the whole of 2015.

As far as selling, it's fallen off so much it's crazy. I used to have a pretty fair side income selling (not scalping) books, games, movies, movie posters, records, CDs, etc - but between eBay's seller-unfriendly policies and the general downturn in eBay sales that a lot of smaller sellers have experienced, it's gotten to where I only sell maybe one or two items a month there.

Anyway, I've gotten WAY off topic

Looking forward to getting my AoD replacement discs and checking out Ghost Story and Blood & Lace.

Thats a good question actually. Maybe it is part of some new deal with Midnight Run and hold your breath ....
The Thing - I know Universal has a tight grip on it but money talks. It wont come cheaply. I know a lot of people have wanted it because there are those who believe they can load it with lots of extras which is great..but I also want the best PQ out there for it

Ever notice when Shout announces something, instead of thanks, they get all of these wishlist people who demand titles that they cant get and its been
requested 10000000 times ( Critters) and Carpenter titles already on blu ray..

Amazing that these horror fans don't even know that Vampires, In the Mouth of Madness and Fright Night already have blu ray releases !

Now everyone wants the original Village of the Damned which is a WB title.

Or they know it has a BD release but would also like a SF release. And if it's a CE even better.

A little research for titles would help them out. So many titles have been requested to Scream and were shot down by them, all it takes is some simple scrolling down and the answers are all there
