Too bad Scream Factory couldn't get the rights to release Species, but I'm sure they tried. The MGM release is pretty lackluster.

I thought The Boy was referring to that movie coming out in January.

That's what I thought at first, too, but I guess it's this one...

[Show spoiler]

And the listing for it on this site has it titled as "This Boy". Lol. Not sure how that happened. Hopefully someone will change it soon.

Super has shown me that Rainn Wilson deserves more credit than just being Dwight Schrute, so I may look into it.

Seriously - you call this lackluster ??
  • Audio commentary by director Roger Donaldson and actors Natasha Henstridge and Michael Madsen

  • Extras:"Designing A Hybrid" featurette (15:44)
  • "H.R. Giger At Work" featurette (11:59)
  • Bonus trailers
  • Subtitles:Chinese, English, English HoH, French, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish and Thai
  • Aspect Ratio:2.35:1
  • Picture Format: 1080p 24fps MPEG-2
  • Soundtrack(s):English PCM 5.1
  • English Dolby Digital 5.1
  • French Dolby Digital 5.1

And its Region Free

MPEG-2 can still look good if done correctly. I have The Descent and it looks mint.

I'd love SF to do a CE of The Descent.

Since it's with Lionsgate this isn't going to happen. Who owns The Decent 2 however? That one hasn't had a domestic release and would be something I'd jump on since I still haven't gotten around to importing it.

The PQ was pretty weak and it only had Dolby Digital and PCM tracks for audio. Give me a DTS-HD Master Audio track and a AVC encode.

I have this release. The PQ looks really good - definitely superior to the DVD and the audio is suitable. Maybe not for you, but for me it does. With all the extras and the HD master MGM created its doubtful Shout would do anything more due to technical specs, but you might get a slipcover

No memories of that, but it has a sisters threeway that ends with an exploding uterus. You can't go wrong!

Looking at the front page has made me realize how far behind I am on my Scream collection, and should probably start to catch up. Anyone know where's the cheapest place to get the films? So far, Amazon's looking like the best place, but I don't know if there's anywhere else that'd be better off.

If you don't mind used then the Trading forum has great prices on Scream titles. I usually pay no more than around $10 for a title from a member when they are selling lots

Is anybody on here from the U.K importing U.S titles?,I was using "Dvd world U.S.A" and "Movietyme",but both companies have gone.

I know I can order titles direct from Amazon, but I quite liked the earlier than street date delivery provided by the two companies mentioned.

Does anybody use any other companies to ship to the U.K?.

Wowhd and deepdiscount or try eBay, Allyourmusic. I think they're all the same but have differing prices. None get stuff weeks before street dates.
