[quote=Donl1282;11661320]I wish SF would release the following

1. The Birds II Land's End
2. Psycho IV The Beginning
3. Body Parts
4. House IV
5. Omen IV The Awakening
6. The Hitcher
7. Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte
8. Amityville 1992 It's About Time - with Lionsgate
9. Amityville Dollhouse ------------------with Lionsgate
10. Nightmare on the 13th Floor

Nightmare might be with Paramount.
The Hitcher is with Warner/HBO. Body Parts and House IV are with Warner also
The titles with Fox have a glimmer of hope ONLY if Shout makes a deal with them. I think Hush Hush might be with another label.

I suspect that HUSH...HUSH, SWEET CHARLOTTE is with Twilight Time via Fox.

Based on it's production history, Nightmare on the 13th Floor is probably in the same library of films as Trilogy of Terror II.

I'd rather see on br...

Trespass (1992) & Judgment Night (1993) would make an excellent double feature although each film could stand on their own.

Cat's Eye (1985)
Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever (2009)
Valentine (2001)

They probably hold the rights to Nightmare on the 13th Floor, too.

Both films were produced for the USA Network (currently a subsidiary of NBCUniversal Cable) by Wilshire Court Productions (formerly a subsidiary of Paramount Television). Both films have been out of circulation on home video since their original VHS releases through Paramount.

Definatly. I watched my DVD version of it the other month and it looks so dark and the sound could really do with some lossless magic. It is a fabulous movie though.

Body Parts is with Paramount, Shout/Scream has said in the past the anything with Warner, Lionsgate, or Paramount would hard to release or they would not be able to release at all. it's looks like the Scream releases are mostly from MGM, Sony, and Universal.

Maximum Overdrive could be a right limbo. One company has the dvd rights, one has the tv and theatrical, one has the international, and one has the Bluray rights. it happens all the time.

Nope. It was a TV movie anyways so DVD will probably be the best it would look anyways unless it was filmed if it still exists as film.

I also enjoy this Amityville sequel (It's About Time). The older LD had a great stereo track but the dvd was fairly lousy in comparison. I'm not sure if this was shot with only the home video framing in mind or if widescreen was a future goal. It'd be great to have more of the Amityville sequels if the (hi-def) elements are there for a proper release.

We know all of this Warner Archive did a MOD DVD of Body Parts so that was part of the key 600 titles they licensed from Paramount.

Scream doesnt have any deal with Sony or if it was it was for very little, they did a couple of deals with Fox

A majority of the USA Original Movies are divided between Paramount and Universal. I think one of the only movies that either studio released on DVD is The Android Affair, which Universal sandwiched on a 6 movie Sci-Fi set of TV movies.
