With the Naked Cage being released I hope Red Heat gets a release especially an unrated cut. Perhaps Chained Heat is in the making since it's mentioned on the bluray.

Chained Heat would be excellent. I've been hoping that one see's release eventually... though it seems to be more of a Code Red title in my opinion. As long as someone released it though I'll be happy.

I haven't seen any newer titles, but I have seen these recently at Best Buy:

Darkman (with slip)
Manhunter (with slip)
Mad Max
Escape From New York

They also had The Fog back during October I believe it was.

Does anyone think BB will carry the Poltergeist II and III CEs? Not a big deal as Amazon usually has better prices on most Shout releases, but the curiosity strikes me as I've heard stories that BB would get in Scream CEs of something like Child's Play but lists and prices it according to the MGM release.

Should be getting Poltergeist 2 & 3 today as well as Slumber Party Massacre double feature. Also got The Pit too. Coming from Amazon. Pre- ordered Wishmaster Collection.

I think the movie No Escape 1994 would be a cool title to have out. Not sure if it fits with horror, but has a sci fi element to it.

They won't be in BB stores. They have an 8 digit SKU, when means an online only item.

It's surprising how little discussion is going on here about the sale. I figured lots of people would be taking advantage of deals on SF releases.

i just ordered Invaders From Mars with Chinese Connection and Fists of Fury for $35, and Vestron's Wishmaster set along with White of the Eye and Jeepers Creeprs for $67. I'm pretty happy.

Hi Scream Factory,

Just a recommendation: If you could get the rights to release the 1980 slasher, 'He Knows You're Alone,' you might want to try for it. It's the last slasher I'm really looking for, not released yet.

I know it's an MGM movie. But, I know Warner Bros. released the movie on DVD in 2004. So, I have no idea who those rights reside with nowadays.

It would probably sell ok. I know it's considered the Halloween clone of all clones on the 2nd tier wave, but, I can't help it. I still like the damn movie.

Just taking a shot.

It's streaming on Amazon in HD, and it's still listed as a Warner release. Warner Archive might be a possibility, at least.

Finally got around to getting my request for a Dead Ringers replacement in, Shout/Scream is super easy to deal with on these things. They were able to find my order (placed through their site) and got it out to me in no time.

I love "He Knows You're Alone" it is one of the last major slashers not on blu yet. A highly underrated film in my opinion.
Warner also owns "Eyes of a Stranger". Another thriller from 1981 that I would buy I a heartbeat. "Eyes" is an extremely violent and brutal serial killer slasher.

I would rather not think about it. It is like thinking back on a traumatizing childhood memory. I spent way too much trying to 'catch up' on my scream factory collection.

Warner own the older MGM movies. They bought their catalog from before 1980-something. '84? Something like that. US only though, so a UK label might be able to license what he wants from MGM. Otherwise a Warner Archive release would be the main option, and I doubt less popular slashers are on their radar at the moment.
