Thanks! I checked a few titles and some prices appear to be decent while others are average at best. I'll need to pull my list and give a more thorough look later. The Olive titles are currently Buy one get one free however, so 40% off MSRP is not bad for some titles though still can't compete with the Olive sale happening right now or the Arrow sale last month at Family Video where the most I spent for any title was $17 with several coming in under $12.

I have a lot of SF titles to catch up on. I'll probably grab all the sub $15 titles I need and hope for the best for SF's July sale and my birthday. Also hitting up the olive sale, have 4-6 definite buys and a handful that I've never seen and need to watch before the sale ends

Empire of the Ants is going to be on TCM next week. Good opportunity for those who haven't seen it to see if it's worth a purchase. The Howling 2 is also on El Rey (plays uncut after 8) this month - there's also an airing tonight

I don't need or want Scream to waste their time with Friday the 13th. I have the Blu Complete Collection, the FCLTM DVD box set, and the Crystal Lake Memories book and Blu. Other than Part 3 in real 3-D, there's nothing else to do except sell them individually with new cover art and slipcovers. You know, a total and complete cash grab.

And I own the 1-8 double Blu's too. But there are plenty of people who weren't lucky enough to get those or the complete collection on Blu. Those being out of print, I feel the sales would be huge. Plus, would love to see new cover art and esp. reverse cover art with the original poster art. As far as extras, they can port everything over from the existing discs, and then as Scream usually does so well, produce a few new documentaries. I would buy them day 1 as I'm sure others would. It would be massive money in the bank for Scream and it would make a lot of happy Friday fans. Everyone would win. |

Friday the 13th boxset was in print a good long while though, I feel like all those who passed on it were waiting for bargain bin prices and Scream don't really go for that market. Though I am sure they would get a ton of purchases based on their name, packaging and extras alone.

As for my opinion on a SF release of the F13 series, I'm all in for it. I did miss out on the boxset but would probably get a set put out by SF. I do always complain about SF doing too many re-releases but in a case like this where something is OOP it's totally justified imo. It's definitely not the same as re-releasing the Thing or Fire Starter. |

In any event I don't think everyone who wanted Friday and missed out was a cheapo or anything, I'm speaking in generalities. I worked overseas for two years and bought nothing and missed out on stuff because of that, so I feel your pain. I'm just saying in general I don't think that market is who Scream aims for. A box from them would still be successful though, for reasons I stated. A Paramount deal is still a dream though, at this point. |

I have the Friday the 13th set that is oop but I would still buy a new box set if scream factory released them. I have a friend who wasn't collecting blurays when the first set was around and he really wants a set so he would definitely buy a set also. I want Scream factory to get the rights to do a Nightmare on elm street collection. That would be great.

Maybe Shout would sell a ton of copies of F13 1-8. But that doesn't necessarily mean Shout would make a ton of money off them. For all we know, Paramount might want some outrageous amount to license 'em in the US.

Timebomb coming August 29:
![]() https://www.shoutfactory.com/film/ac...nture/timebomb Well at least it's something new, that's about the kindest thing I can say about it (I wasn't a fan). Hoping for some better MGM titles (like After Midnight) soon. |
