I don't even especially care about them, I just like the uniformity. These sales have me seriously contemplating unloading all 50+ of them...

I normally couldn't care less about slipcovers, but I've got mint condition Scream Factory slipcovers for all of my Collector's Editions discs, except for Night of the Demon and From Beyond, simply because I happened to buy them at the right places at the right times.

I never sell anything on eBay, and I never sell any of my Blu-rays/DVDs online, simply because it's an ungodly pain in the neck to do so. Unloading my Scream slipcovers for that much money is enticing, although I don't feel like setting up a seller account to do so.

I listed them individually on the the trading forums here and 1 person bought 90% of them in one go, I think I got $8 a piece, but they seem to be going for around $10 each anymore.

As for the list of most owned SF titles... More people need to purchase Phantom of the Opera. It's a very fun film and I feel like it's gone under peoples radar because of the title of the film. I would think that plenty of folks here on site would get a kick out of it. Robert Englund is great, the effects are top notch and the film feels very much like a bigger budget production from the 1980's which in and of itself is appealing to folks like myself that appreciate that era of horror.

I've seen it, but don't have it (yet). That came out at right about the point where I became completely unable to keep up with their output, and it just seems to keep getting pushed to the backburner. Definitely one I eventually need to grab though

Scream-related anecdote...

A friend and I went to the Midnight Oil reunion concert here in Atlanta this past Saturday night. While we were in the T-shirt/merch booth line, I overheard two guys behind us talking about Tawny Kitaen. I turned around and told them that I love a couple of her 80s movies. One of the guys said, "Witchboard rules!", and we fist-pumped. That was pretty funny.

I'm always impressed when I encounter actual real-life face-to-face people who remember some of these movies that I love.

Your research is appreciated, but there's something you've overlooked - collection counts include people that have a title in their wishlist. Using They Live as an example, there's a few hundred people of that 3474 count that have it in their wishlist. Just throwing that out there...

I thought wishlist, by default, had an item value of zero? At least it did a few years ago, not sure if that's changed. You had to manually change the value to have it count towards your collection total?

I'm always impressed when I encounter actual real-life face-to-face people who remember some of these movies that I love.

I always regard them with suspicion, as I find it hard to believe they actually exist.

No, it counts. I checked out The Screaming Skull (which is listed in 64 collections) but if you manually count, only thirty something people actually own them and the rest are wishlist. It also doesn't help that people create their own categories.
