i'd be tempted to buy Cobra but i have it in a Stallone Blu-ray set that i got a great deal on.

A Seagal set would be incredible - i don't have any of those on blu-ray, and a set with Hard to Kill, both Under Sieges, Out for Justice, Above the Law and Marked for Death would be huge windfall

plus most of the early Seagal releases were pretty weak--- especially Out For Justice and Under Siege.

Would love to see special editions of these... but with new transfers only!

I mean, that death scene in UNDER SIEGE is worth every penny.

If Scream Factory has licensed all four Critters films in their current licensing deal with Warner Brothers, I fully expect they'll release them all as part of a boxset, ala Amityville or It's Alive, not as standalone / double feature releases.

I'm pretty sure most of the previous cases where series were broken down into standalone / double feature releases were done that way because not all of the official films in those series were available to Scream Factory at the same time as part of the same licensing agreement.

I think your right. Species is a great example as they piece that franchise together across 3 different releases. I'm just hoping for some special features. I'd love for them to do a red shirt documentary on the franchise, as the previous DVDs were more or less bare bones (I think the first one has a 60 second alternate ending)...

While we're talking about action movie CE's... Action Jackson needs one.

If it's true that Scream has now a licensing deal with Warner, I would love it if the release Jason Goes to Hell Unrated. Warner had their shot and blew it with their no unrated BS policy if that was even true.

I believe AKORIS was saying that the BDs of "Out for Justice" and "Under Siege" were weak, not the films themselves. Let's be honest, nobody thinks "Out for Justice" is weak, and if there is someone who does, he's probably not human.

A Nightmare on Elm Street...I could see that being the big Comic-Con announcement. The sad thing is I'll buy it even if it's just an exact replica of the Warner box, but I really hope they can add something to it, the workprint of Dream Master, the director's cut of Dream Child, etc. ANoES has to be my favorite all-time series, even getting a few steps over on Phantasm, so I hope (if they have it) they can offer us fans something to sweeten the deal. If they had it, I'd figure it would have leaked at this point. Maybe they're just running a tight ship on it.

As I've said before, I know someone involved in the production of Critters, and he (or she) has confirmed Blu-rays of Critters 1 and 2 to me. I hope that's the October announcement. But ANoES would be a blockbuster set, and I'd preorder that bastard the second it went live.

Interviews would be awesome and maybe both old HBO featurette and maybe a 25 year retrospective documentary on a look back at the movie 25 years later since this year is the 25th anniversary with the theatrical cut in the same stunning great transfer and director's cut as fans want to see the deleted scenes or if they can put the deleted scenes in a section and all that.

A CE with 2K or 4K remastering on the theatrical cut would be the bomb and maybe even include a director's cut or just put deleted scenes in section to see what was cut out from the movie.

Action horror thriller mix is what Cobra is and Demolition Man is sci-fi action satire.

Shout needs to put that out on BD so fans can retire their DVDs.

I'm sure at the end of this month or next month or comic con or July they will announce it and i can retire my DVD.

I'm sure they might announce Elm Streets 1 to 4 CE BDs at the comic con then later 5 6 and 7 CEs.

Critters 1 and 2 CE could be a Halloween contender you know and would be one of their biggest sellers.

While I love my Seagal collection, mostly in a completely non-ironic way, I think I'd have to kick my own ass if I was double dipping on the things

Action Jackson has been available on Blu-ray for quite a while, and I doubt sales have been impressive enough for Shout to pick it up.

Marked for Death is my favorite Seagal film so I'd for sure buy a SF release of that one.
