It's not looking down at people who only collect from their own region. It's just a waste of time. Why wait 10 years for the mere possibility that a title might be released in your country when there is a perfectly good blu-ray already available? Also what happens if the US blu-ray is missing a certain cut of a movie or the US blu-ray isn't as good PQ/AQ wise to an import.

Not entirely true, there's...

Half Past Dead
Belly of the Beast
Into the Sun
Out of Reach
Pistol Whipped
Mercenary for Justice
Machete

That I'd rate higher than Exit Wounds and so far I've only seen till around 2009/10. I've also heard some of his others around that time were decent also. Exit Wounds maybe more polished than some of the titles I've listed above but that's all it has going for it.

well, to each his own of course-- I said 99% because of Machete which was a fun flick, but not one I consider to be "a Steven Seagal movie". While Exit Wounds is not top tier Seagal, I do like it better than the films you listed here.....

Can someone tell me if it is too late to get the replacement disc/discs for Army of Darkness? I bought it nearly 3 years ago, so I wouldn't be able to provide proof of purchase. I don't know if I'm shit out of luck now How many discs needed replacements anyway?

It would be a long shot for sure, but it would be an absolute dream for Scream Factory to release collector's editions for Scream 1-4.

If you bought it online, you might still be able to pull up an invoice or detailed order history for your purchase on that website. A PDF copy or screenprint of that would probably satisfy the proof of purchase requirements.

Damn straight I did. Both of them. At the same time too.

Don't get me wrong, I love special editions, but lately I've been replacing Blu's bought in say 2013, with special editions that turn out to not be all that special.

But a few have. Simply put, if Blob/NOTLD gets released after almost a decade of waiting on the Blu format, they should be quite worth it, especially for guys like us who bought import versions to have them now.

Wicked Media (a German Label) just posted something from Red Shirt Pictures concerning Creepshow special features. Is this an older supplement? Has Red Shirt done anything with Creepshow 1 in the past? Or did Wicked Media just drop the ball?

They handled and produced the region 2 special features. The documentary Just Desserts and the audio commentaries are from them.

I'd probably want each one individually released as a CE. They deserve it! except maybe 4 but might as well complete the franchise.

So are Childs Play 2 & 3 pretty much confirmed for a Scream Factory release? I know they aren't confirmed but it just makes too much sense. They probably should have done 2&3 omg Scream before they did Childs Play 1.

I love the Scream franchise although I'm not sure what more could be added to this release Trilogy, besides possibly the Unrated Cut of part 1...

That received a perfectly fine and affordable Blu-ray release last fall.

Why does Scream need it now? Won't buy it without their label stuck on it?

I have the Blu of It Came From Outer Space and can personally attest that the transfer is terrific in 3D (didn't even bother to watch the 2D) and the restored stereophonic sound more potent than I could've imagined. The commentary is as fun and informative as I've come to expect from Tom Weaver and the documentary is solid. The trailer (in either 2D or 3D) is vintage gold. All this can currently be yours for $10 at Amazon (and sometimes goes for even cheaper). If Scream wants to release a Universal 50's classic such as The Incredible Shrinking Man or Tarantula in Hi-Def, great; It Came From Outer Space is already as beautifully represented on Blu as it needs to be (it surpassed even my own expectations).

Since Stephen King seems to be undergoing a new appreciation, it sure would be great to see Shout/Scream do an Apt Pupil re-issue.
