Ok guys need your opinion... I've never seen the texas chainsaw massacre next generation.. so I'm torn if i should buy it or not... is worth it? Like good deaths? Gore? Or is it trying to be funny like scary movie.. where it's too ridiculous.. idk..

Hope the WB titles pick up, not much more I want from Sony. One or two. Looks like October is my hope for titles.

My opinion is that you probably need to experience it for yourself. The theatrical cut (thus far, the only cut confirmed for the Scream Factory release) is available as a rental on Amazon's streaming service.

Would definitely try before buying, to me its the worst chainsaw film. Including originals and remakes.

Like others have said try watching it before buying it. It's truly terrible. It's the only TCM film I really don't want in my collection. The exception would be if the SF release has some great special features, if not I'm happy never owning it again after getting rid of my DVD awhile back.

If you use amazon video I'd rent it and see. It's different to say the least. It's like some oddball horror I'd see on late night cable in the early 90s. It's the last tcm I liked at all. I liked it just like I liked 1 2 3 because they were each their own movie and different in their own way. But it's pretty much you like it or you dont for most people.

This was such a great video I subscribed to this channel. It definitely reinforced that this movie is one of the most insane movies I've ever seen and its also one of the most hilarious.

I would LOVE to see Hello Mary Lou / The Last Kiss / Deliver Us from Evil hit blu-ray and Synapse has said if there is demand, they'd license the sequels. Unfortunately the first Prom Night didn't sell too well, so we really need to let them know that PROM NIGHT 2 is the best of the franchise and the one we all really want.

I watched Midnight Man last night and right around the time Robert Englund enters the movie and for about 2 minutes after there are audio dropouts every few seconds. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but it's there on my copy. I haven't had a chance to try the disc on another player.

Had no idea Prom Night didn't sell well. It's such a terrific release.
It's one of the most gorgeously looking transfers I have on Blu. What a shame.

Prom Night 2 is also my favorite in the series & id love a BD of it, doesn't matter who releases it. 3 & 4 not really interested in owning them after seeing them a few months back.
