Getting for sure:

Candyman
Urban Legend
Critters Collection
Single White Female
Screamers
10 to Midnight
The Jerk

Might consider:

Starman
Urban Legend 2
Sleepwalkers
The Craft
Obsession
For sure not getting;

Silent Night, Deadly Night 2
Saturday the 14th

I'm glad to have Sleepwalkers as a 5 dollar title, but will take a lot to get a CE of it.

I'm really disappointed due to so many re-releases and no Hitcher.

Those two specific points were not linked. I said 'Perhaps the deal is more limited than I figured' - I never said 'it must be limited'. I'm merely speculating. Who knows how big the Warner deal is, but I'm surprised to see only 1 of the 14 'titles' being Warner properties given recent announcements. With Warner Archive announcing Bad Ronald and The Swarm, it's pretty clear that they intend to do their fair share, so it'll be interesting to see what they've decided to keep vs what they've elected to licence out. Obviously Scream have more Warner titles to announce, though perhaps much of it is not of the more mainstream, crowd-pleasing variety they were aiming for with this particular set of announcements. And I'd have no issue with that.

As for Deadly Friend, I have no doubt that it would be one of the first titles on Scream's wishlist, and if they had it they would have announced it by now. Maybe they can get it in a subsequent deal if Warner are happy with arrangements, or perhaps they have plans to issue it themselves via Warner Archive. But Deadly Friend potentially not being among Scream's acquisitions from Warner certainly doesn't reveal anything about the size of the deal, of course some titles will be out of limits.

I have the Millenium Blu of Dracula: Prince of Darkness, but as that transfer employed a bit too much DNR and only contained lossy audio, there is room for improvement; here's hoping. I'd love to see the on-set Super 8mm footage and Dracula/Plague of the Zombies trailers from the Anchor Bay release, omitted here, included on the Scream. The fact that Scream have the rights to this opens the door to Frankenstein Created Woman and Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, so it's all good!

Love De Palma, so the Obsession disc has my attention though I'll admit the Arrow disc is pretty sweet --the transfer and audio are solid (that intentionally gauzy cinematography has led to many problematic transfers over the years, and the Arrow does it justice) so it'll come down to extras for me in justifying a double-dip.

That Candyman disc, bursting at the seams with supplements, is an easy purchase for me for a title I've never owned on any video format...for which I doubtless deserve to be disemboweled by Tony Todd.

Only Used Cars (never got the Twilight Time, though I have the DVD) interests me in the Shout Select announcements (was really hoping for a new Flash Gordon CE). The screwball antic tone of Used Cars, combined with Kurt Russell's hilarious comedic performance, makes it my favorite Robert Zemeckis film.

EDIT: Screw it, I'm buying them both.
A little comparison between the Special Features on the Arrow Limited Edition and Scream Factory Collector's Edition.

Very similar, I think the Scream Edition has more audio commentaries, but I'm not HUGE on those and Arrow has Three rarely-seen Bernard Rose short films, newly restored in HD: Looking at Alice (30 mins, 1978), A Bomb With No Name on It (3 mins, 1976), The Wreckers (5 min

The art on the SF edition is a little clunky for me, and Arrow just kills with their packaging.

I know which way I'm going to go.

So why couldn't Scream release all three Urban Legends movies as a set?

I came close to ordering Valley Girl, Scream for Help and Creepshow but $70 for all three (saving a whopping $10) is still just too much for my blood. Not used to paying those ridiculous prices so I’ll just go back to my original plan of waiting for better prices and more options to buy from.

Candyman
The Craft
Critters Collection
Saturday the 14th
Screamers
Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2
Single White Female
Sleepwalkers
Starman
10 to Midnight
Urban Legend
Urban Legends: Final Cut

Down for all the above. Delighted to see Urban Legend films get a good release.

Regarding VALENTINE, I should say it is a very safe bet this one is coming. It has the same director as Urban Legend, Jamie Blanks. I would presume he did any special features for both films at the same time.

I know that Night of the Creeps already has a nice Blu-ray, but if Scream Factory were to release it, I think they would include both the theatrical and director's cuts. The theatrical cut was missing from the current Blu-ray, and it's the cut that I grew up watching on VHS.

I was only going to preorder Candyman and Critters, but when I saw that 20% off promotion added to my cart, I also preordered Urban Legend 1 and 2, Single White Female, and Sleepwalkers.

But still, earlier pre-order titles like Piranha 2, In the Mouth of Madness, Brain Dead, Someone's Watching Me, and others don't get that 20% off. I wonder if SF glitched on this and these new announced titles shouldn't be reduced by 20% yet. Get 'em quick at that price!
It's certainly a glitch. The question is will they honor it for people that got it or cancel the orders.

Looking at your avatar, I couldn’t help but think of you saying this in Bane’s voice with dramatic pauses and reflection.

Not so much a fan of Critters, boxset or not.

Was hoping for one obscure 80s release to go along with some of the bigger names. The Critters set looks nice. Only have seen the first one and wasn't that excited about it. I will need to revisit it and check out the sequels from my DVD set.

I will be in for Urban Legends, Candy Man, Screamers, SNDN2 and Saturday the 14th (agree that this should have been a double feature with the sequel). Thinking I will eventually grab the Urban Legends Sequel and Single White Female.

[QUOTE=TerrorTom;15256956]Nice! Scream Factory teams up with NECA once again!!! An officially licensed Night of the Demons Angela figurine!!! Heck yes!!! Might as well make a "Scream Factory Toy List" so here goes:

1. 'The Beast Within' (would probably never happen as its a bit too "obscure".)
2. 'The Burning' (please oh please make a Cropsey!!!)
3. 'Carrie' (original)
4. 'Day of the Dead' (more Bub figurines being produced is fine by me!)
5. 'Ghost Story' ( bring on ghost Eva!!! ...again, maybe too "obscure"...)
6. 'Ghoulies' ( I want them all haha. Play nice Charles Band and help make it happen!)
7. 'The Howling' ( Yes please!!! Those werewolf designs are the best!)
8. 'The Incredible Melting Man' (I'm not kidding. I want this!)
9. 'IT's ALIVE' (...once again a total pipe dream but I had to list it haha.)
10. 'Motel Hell' (Sure why not!)
11. 'NIGHTBREED' (Any monster from that film would make me a happy camper.)
12. 'Poltergeist 2' (a Kane figurine or any of the freaky ghost monsters would be great!)
13. 'The Return of the Living Dead' (Tarman or perhaps the two punk zombies from the poster art.)
14. 'SHOCKER' ( Yes, I want a Horace Pinker figurine packaged with knife and TV.)
15. 'The Slumber Party Massacre' (the killer (forget his name), with the drill gun.)
16. 'SQUIRM' (that poor guy with the worms protruding from his face, haha. ...again, would never happen as its too "out there".)
17. 'The Strangers' (all three killers in a boxed set, maybe?)
18. 'The THING' (Maybe a MacReady figurine packaged with any one of those thing creatures.)
19. 'TROLL' (Torok packaged with that talking mushroom creature would be suh-weet!)
20. 'Without Warning' (Yes! I want NECA to make that alien in toy form! Its the original predator alien!)

There, if I'm going to be dipping on these titles once again then throw some awesome horror figurines such as those I listed above! Oh, and since Scream Factory is adding a few B-movie classics such as 'The Wasp Woman' then I certainly wouldn't mind it if NECA were to have a hand in that as well! Need more 50's monster toys![/QUOTE}

How about Lifeforce alien vampire bat action figure, Critters action figure, Critters's Ug (rock singer) and Lee (sexy blonde playboy model) the bounty hunters action figures, the Urban Legend killer, Any Dawn of the Dead remake zombie toy, any Creepshow character figure etc.?

Many titles I want, but none will be preordered. I'll just have to get them on release or after due to their facist ways of handling preorders now. Not buying something at full MSRP. At least 10 titles coming soon I will eventually get, but not a single one will be preordered.

I know all of them are re-releases, but the Twilight Time titles are OOP and some lack compelling bonus content anyway (their Blob release only had a commentary and brief convention panel). I know Beetlejuice's Blu-ray is over a decade old now, and was pretty barebones. JGTH and Jason X are also OOP and the former in need of its unrated cut seeing the light of day on Blu.
You completely struck out on these picks. I have the collection with all of the Mad Max films, but I don't think they'll get another blu ray release. I think the next time we get them will be on 4k. The first three Mad Max films that is.
