His new releases on the site goes for $24 with poster + shipping, but mostly all later goes for $15 on amazon? or just some? I remember buy Misery for $14 on amazon.

I start to think if I pay on the site o wait for a lower price on amazon.
Most of the time when Amazon has low prices on Scream Factory releases, they’re just matching the pricing leaders (Best Buy, Walmart, Target).

The problem is that those stores don’t carry most of SF’s newer releases, which limits competition and keeps prices higher at Amazon.

Feels good, boys and girls.

Another day that Night of the Demons does not move out of Pre Shipment. I also received Sleepwalkers today...which shipped 2 days ago. SF tells me to wait another week for Demons, what sense does that make if the package is not even moving or being tracked?! I am so sick and tired of this company, I truly wish another company obtained the rights for a lot of these flicks

All of my Scream Factory orders arrive at my home while the website still reflects pre-shipment. Them asking you to wait is normal as odd's are good it's actually already been shipped out but just wasn't properly scanned into the post office tracking system. Every order I've made with Shout Factory (and a few other businesses if we're being honest) have had this same problem and only ever change to "shipped" after the package has been delivered to my home.

My Night of the Demons order has been in the pre-shipment limbo since the 25th. I haven't had a response to my replacement request so I caved and placed a separate order on Friday and it is due to arrive Monday. I usually wouldn't care about waiting but with the NECA figure involved I didn't want to roll the dice because a lot of people seem to be requesting replacement orders so I skipped to the head of the line, so to speak.

There must be a pallet of these things sitting boxed and labelled in their warehouse waiting to be picked up. Normally I'd give them the benefit of the doubt but if this was a usps issue they still would've been delivered by now

I'm in the same boat, my NOTD just sitting saying the label was created on the 25th and hasn't been updated, I certainly would have received it by now had it actually been shipped then.

Since we're probably going to see another Hammer film announcement for February this week, what would you like to see?

Bring on The Phantom of the Opera (1962) for me!

Why Hammer? Is February the studio's birthday or something? Just seems a little random

I think Scream said they were going to be releasing more Hammer over the next couple of months (When they announced Prince of Darkness)

Well because they've announced Plague of the Zombies I would think their next release would Rasputin the Mad Monk, or The Lost Continent, or The Devil Rides Out. All those titles were in a package that was released by Anchor on DVD years ago and hasn't been released on BD here, in the USA.

If they got the Hammer films released by Anchor Bay then they might also get The Viking Queen, Vengeance of She and Prehistoric Women, and even The Witches.

I hope....

Being a Universal title included on their 8-film Hammer set, I'd be stunned if Scream released their own version. More likely we'll see another title from the Hammer deal (probably The Reptile or The Devil Rides Out, who knows?) or even from the Warner deal (perhaps they have Crescendo and Hysteria; there are also rumours they might have Curse of Frankenstein and Horror of Dracula).

Given the probable extent of the Hammer deal (20+ titles) and also the potential for Warner Hammer titles, I don't think it too much to expect at least one Hammer title a month for the foreseeable future.

Honestly that is precisely what I expect from the new Scream. They keep releasing those double dips.

Speaking of Hammer, I would LOVE for Scream to release The Nanny (1965). The UK blu has no extras and the caps look just like the DVD. I think Scream could do a great job with this.
I would also be very happy to see Prehistoric Women get released. I LOVE this stuff....

But do you honestly think they'd double-dip on a title like Phantom of the Opera, all things considered?

Another Warner title for February: Willard coming 26th February:

Makes sense after Scream released the original.

I’d love a scream factory release of Teaching Mrs Tingle. I love the film but I’ve always thought it plays like something that had been heavily cut down.

Same here. Still no update on NOTD since the label was created on the 10/25. Guess I might need to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
