Really??

Trick 'R Treat. Creepshow. Critters box. Candyman. Urban Legend. SteelBooks of The Thing and Night of the Demons, which while bare-boned (and I think should come with digital copies), are still pretty as heck.

None of them would make the list?? How hard are you to please? I think Scream Factory will be even hotter in 2019 with more Warner Bros. titles dropping, and I'm crossing my fingers really hard for The Lost Boys and Gremlins CE's!

There's also It's Alive boxset and Of Unknown Origin and House on Haunted Hill 1999 being other great releases.

I've thought about Man's Best Friend from time to time, wondering if it would get released. I rented it a lot as a kid. Will def by this but I'm with everyone else... the cover art is atrocious. I remember the VHS with Lance Henriksen whipping out a gun with a cyborg dog in the background. That would have been sweet.

Artwork you see is the original theatrical poster design. The reverse cover will have the art that most remember from the prior DVD and VHS releases.

Oooh, nice. The trailer for that movie disturbed the hell out of me as a kid

Also, holy god with that artwork. Good thing they're also giving us the Lance Henriksen one we all know. This might be the literal first time I turn my artwork over.

Most of us (The Craft fans) are probably close to 40 (I'm 41 this week) and this film came out right around high school graduation for a lot of us, I'd wager. It's a fun witch movie, good cast (Skeet Ulrich is great in this like he was in Scream), better soundtrack. This is a pre-order for me for certain.

Hopefully with another New Line title its just a matter of time before we get Campfire Tales.

I forgot how much New Line was a part of my life growing up until I just looked at a list of their movies haha. I won't go down the "wish list rabbit hole" since it's probably mostly non-Scream films, but still there's a solid bunch.

FWIW, the image of the dog pissing acid on the fire hydrant is forever in my brain. I can tell if we are meant to be friends if it's in your brain, too. haha.
[Show spoiler]and best friends if you remember the scene with the dude's face

I'm not hard to please. I just find Shout!'s overall quality to be perpetually underwhelming (aside from a handful of genuinely great releases, but those are the exception, not the norm).

If we're going by name value of the movies listed, I can see why they would be Top Blu-Rays of 2018 for some, but in terms of craft and quality as blu-rays? Meh.

Didn't Warner say a while back that they'd lost the rights to Campfire Tales?

Woah - Warning Sign coming 26th March!

Could this mean a new deal with Fox? I heard there were legal issues with this one (per Kino), so maybe they lost the rights to it. Fox don't have a great deal of unreleased titles (The Fly II is probably the other big one) but there's certainly potential for double dips (a 4K restoration of The Fly would be very welcome).

If there is indeed a new deal with Fox I hope we get new releases of The Omen films, especially Omen 4 that never got released on blu-ray.

I can think of these, though not all of them may still be with Fox:

Dr Renault's Secret

The Unknown Terror
Back from the Dead
The Alligator People

Hand of Death
Witchcraft
(if they can resolve the issues which nixed the Kino release)
Curse of the Fly
Devils of Darkness
The Nanny

Hex (if it's still with Fox)
The Norliss Tapes
The House on Skull Mountain

Savage Harvest
(they tried before, doubt the music can be cleared)
The Vindicator
The Fly 2

Frankenstein Unbound
The Haunted
Omen IV: The Awakening
Ghost in the Machine
Strange Days
(more a Shout Select title)
Quicksilver Highway

Club Dread
Incident at Loch Ness
Turistas
Joshua
Death Sentence

I think you're right -- it's no longer listed on the Warner Archive site to purchase.

I'd trade all of these for Robert Mandel's The Haunted. Plz Shout make it happen

The pessimist (realist?) in me says to look at the list of titles Fox has already released on Blu, and make predictions from there.

I’m hoping The Fly II is one of the releases in this new licensing deal though.

Turistas and Club Dredd. Yes please.

I'd also like to throw in a vote for The Beach (2000) via Shout Select.

If Anchor Bay have indeed lost the rights to their Fox titles, I'd be very happy to see The Entity given the CE treatment, the current transfer leaves a lot to be desired.

As for other Fox titles which might get the double dip treatment, here's a list of some possibilities:

The Omen
Damien: The Omen II
Omen III: The Final Conflict
The Entity
(if the rights have reverted to Fox)
Big Trouble in Little China
The Fly
(1986)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Freaked
(if the rights have reverted to Fox)
The X-Files: Fight the Future
From Hell
Joy Ride
28 Days Later
Wrong Turn
The Descent
The Hills Have Eyes
(2006)
The Omen (2006)
28 Weeks Later
Mr Brooks
The X-Files: I Want to Believe
