That is fantastic. I was not aware that they did that. I was concerned that I might receive a bulk mailing when the last item was released.

I wish Paramount would license Let's Scare Jessica to Death (1971) and April Fool's Day (1986) to another label since they have no desire to release them.
I co-sign all of the above. I would love to have EYES OF A STRANGER in HD. LET’S SCARE JESSICA is available as a decent but not outstanding HD stream or purchase on Amazon Prime, but obviously a blu ray would be preferable.

Lots of great suggestions here. I would buy so many made-for-TV movies from the Seventies and early Eighties on blu-ray. Isn’t it true that one of the networks trashed several of their movies from the Seventies, though? I can’t remember which network and I don’t know if there’s any veracity to that.

I feel obligated to support it even though I have the Second Sight one as well. I'm wondering how they are pulling off the multiple aspect ratios they allegedly have.

Apparently the Scream version will have 2 aspect ratios.

They did, at least as far as The Seduction. Shout sent me an email yesterday which had it displayed. Of course, when you went to the website link it was "not found" so obviously was shared as an error prematurely.

But here it was displayed in the email:

It is listed on this site as having a Blu-ray release, but the only info I can find indicates release as a DVD. I haven’t seen anything else regarding a Blu-ray.
The original price would seem to indicate that it’s a DVD as well, but wanted to check.

Thanks!

It is definitely a DVD... I bought it when it first came out back in 2011. There is currently no Blu-ray release or any rumors of one forthcoming.

We knew The Seduction was with a label so I guess it's no great surprise. Presumably it will be announced imminently. Was there anything else revealed in that e-mail btw Katatonia?

You could well be right, it's likely wishful thinking on my part that decent elements survive for all of these (that fire at Universal a few years back may not have helped). But if we just got some of the titles on that list it would be something.

Nope, it was just The Seduction.

This is the link in the email, but it's not yet active on the website: https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=7062

I enjoyed the 'Stranger Calls' sequel but I wouldn't buy a standalone copy of it, especially not at Shout's prices. The Second Sight double feature was the perfect release for these films.

Once again, if Shout had made an announcement that they had WASCB when Second Sight announced it, I would have waited and bought that release. But since they didn't, I bought the comprehensive Second Sight set, and I'm happy with that. Will not be getting this one. Good news about the Seduction, though. We knew that was coming.

I wonder if they'll announce Vice Squad for May? Then we have our other confirmed/heavily rumoured titles still to be announced:

Hard to Die/Sorority House Massacre 2
The Terminator
Fade to Black
Crescendo

It feels safe to predict that 2-3 of the monthly titles (for the foreseeable future) will consist of titles from the Hammer and Universal deals, in the latter case the 30-50s stuff in particular (we know to expect most of Universal's horror and sci-fi stuff from this period, and no additional titles are with Kino). But then still have Warner, Sony, StudioCanal, MGM, Fox (perhaps), Corman, ITV, even independent deals. So much potential here, the line could keep going for years still (especially if it slowed down the current rate of releases), which never looked to be the case around this time last year.

Either that or a barebones release via Mill Creek.

The Streets/Angel In Red was only released on DVD, not Blu. It also appears to be OOP, as is the Up From the Depths/Demon of Paradise DVD.

Yeah, I saw that this was OOP. Hopefully, I can find it for a reasonable price. Eb Lottimer who plays Lumley in Streets was my directing professor in film school and I’d love to see him in the film again. I don’t think I’ve seen Streets since I was in high school in the 90s.

Thanks for info and thanks to Katatonia too.
