Would they just go ahead with the current master, or would they drop the title, in which case maybe Scream might ultimately pick it up?
I love the film; great performances, story, and that 80's neon cinematography. I own the Umbrella, but would definitely buy it from SF, especially with a new transfer.

Especially when you consider that the June title announcements will be for September which in my opinion is the best month of the year for horror titles.

The Kino Insider has confirmed that Road Games is with 'another label', which must mean it's coming from Scream. I don't think this is much of a surprise, since it's one of StudioCanal's bigger horror titles, and certainly one which Scream were always going to go hard after. I'm expecting it to get the CE treatment.

On the subject of the StudioCanal deal, I don't expect Scream to have too many more titles beyond what we know about. We now know they have Fear No Evil, Road Games, and the remaining six Hammer titles, and as far as I know, there isn't much left after these, given that the Kino Insider has also pretty much confirmed Kino have Murder By Decree:

Homebodies
Bloodmoon
Deep-Star Six

I think it's almost certain that Scream will have Deep-Star Six, again it feels very much like a very good fit for them. As for the other two, the Kino Insider has said that Hombodies is coming, but it feels more like a Kino title to me. And I would say Bloodmoon was a Scream title, but the Kino Insider has also said they have an 80s horror in their StudioCanal deal, so I'm thinking it could be that, unless there's something else I don't know about.

Finding it a bit tough to pull the trigger for Earthquake at thirty bucks. Buy it from Shout or Amazon, any way you slice it it'll be thirty pesos. I only want this BD in case anyone suggests I buy something else to get free shipping. Even if I were to add another BD it still wouldn't come out to $50 due to Shout's clever pricing schemes. Shout's exorbitant shipping really kills it. I guess I'll wait for a sale.

Another one and a FOX title is ENEMY MINE. I would die to see Scream do a collectors edition of this.

Yea didn’t they announce Exorcist II, Return of the Living Dead part II & Texas Chainsaw Massacre:TNG well before the delay? So sure we might get a good horror announcement for September

I wonder if the recent shuffling around will help us get a release of Wolf Creek, given the new ownership. Not sure what their plans are for the catalog and if they're open to licencing. Definitely one I'd like to see on blu, especially given it doesn't have a North American release yet.

Anybody know if there's any chance Scream would release Deepstar 6? One of my favorite creature feature from the 80's and all that's available is a full screen dvd. Who owns the right to this one?

Rogue would be another great creature feature too!

I've never seen this but have been curious about it for some time. It's one that I'd pick up if given the chance.

As I speculated on the last page, I'd say it's almost certain that Scream will have Deep-Star Six as part of their StudioCanal deal. If not, Kino will surely release it, so we should be fine.

Lol, sorry about that. With over 3,000 pages, what were the chances somebody would have brought up DeepStar Six one page before? :P
Hopefully you are right about this, it seems like a perfect fit for them.

With Aja's Crawl coming out and with Scream Factory having already released Lake Placid, it would make sense for them to release more gator goodness like Alligator or Rogue too!

I've got the Umbrella release of Road Games, but if Scream put's out a release that's an improvement, I'll look into it.

I'm personally waiting for the heads of everyone whom vocally dislikes Scream releasing previously available titles to explode when they inevitably announce a Collector's Edition release of Evil Dead II.

I'm hoping for a CE of Brian DePalma's The Fury (1978) It apparently was a troubled production that has a multitude of deleted scenes and alternate takes, including an alternate death scene for Carrie Snodgress.
I would love an interview with Amy Irving talking about the making of the film and also attending a biofeedback clinic to better understand her character.
It would be interesting if they could get interviews with Daryl Hannah & Laura Innes about working on their first film and what it was like on set.

I have that release of Road Games, too. Fun flick. Stacy Keach has never been better.

I love Scream Factory, but the existing Lionsgate Blu-ray of Evil Dead 2 is outstanding. Even if Scream does announce their own release of it, I can't imagine why it would be a big deal.

As long as you're careful it's a Scream release, this is one of the best places to order from. Free shipping at $40 too.
