The sequel is much better anyway.

We haven't had a Fox title in two months? We were getting a few here in there, but it didn't seem like a lot.

I'm just hoping they picked up Death Sentence.

[Show spoiler]-New improved picture quality
-New/improved audio
-Improved packaging (individual cases/boxset)
-First time ever Blu Ray release of Part IV
-HD trailers for all films
-New commentaries on parts 2-4 if possible
-Any behind the scenes materials still left for parts 2-4
-A Franchise retrospective which could look at the cast, the effects, the score, the critical reception, the home video market, the decision to release a made for tv movie, "the Omen curse" etc.
-A Horror's Hallowed Grounds perhaps?

Hell even something completely original and unique such as a feature length look at 70's Religious horror themed films and what was going on in America at the time would prove incredibly interesting and make the set worth purchasing if Scream Factory wanted to go that direction.
Nobody cares enough about these to warrant all that. Hell, the first one is total bollocks.

But what am I saying, that's right in Shout's wheelhouse.

Club Dread definitely needs a blu. Watched it during my horror marathon last October and it's a fun flick.

One Fox title that doesn't have a US release of any kind is Alien Nation

I'd pick it up for sure, but I actually consider it near the bottom of my list of Broken Lizard films.

Super Troopers
Slammin' Salmon
Super Troopers 2
Club Dread
Beerfest

Yeah it's not at the top of my list either but major props for putting Slammin Salmon so high. SOOOOOO underrated.

I'd welcome a blu-ray release of Club Dread. My favourite Broken Lizard film is Beerfest, Comedy Gold.

But it has a region free release that’s available on Amazon for around $14.

Years ago now it was confirmed to be with Twilight Time, who were waiting on a 4K restoration. But who knows what's going on with that - if it's been completed, or if the work has even begun (and in light of the Disney takeover, will it happen at all?). Would they just go ahead with the current master, or would they drop the title, in which case maybe Scream might ultimately pick it up?

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Turistas-Blu-ray/313/

There was a Turistas release planned by Fox in the format`s early days
which unfortunately got cancelled last minute.

I`m really hoping Scream will pick it up!

That's what I thought. I'd heard this before, as other others had tried for it too, but no joy... The previous poster worded it as though Fade To Black was supposed to be happening, which is why I queried it.

For sure. Personally, I never rid myself of a DVD until I have the BD upgrade literally in my hands.

I want Club Dread the most since it doesn't have a blu ray release.

"F**k that guy! Son of a son of a b**ch!"

I still can't listen to Jimmy Buffet with a straight face since hearing Bill Paxton's riotous rant as Coconut Pete in CLUB DREAD.

Even though I rate it rather low compared to other Broken Lizard films I still enjoy the film and would happily pick it up. I'd also rate it higher than most mid 2000 comedies as well. It may not be a day one buy (depending on the price) but I am 100% certain I'd buy it without waiting for some kind of crazy markdown. It was on some Cable channel this last fall and I re-watched it after having not seen it since a few years after it's premier. I liked it a lot more during that viewing than I did my initial viewing.

So should we be expecting some Fox titles to be announced for release later this year?

*Slight Release Date Delay*

THIS ISLAND EARTH moves two weeks and will now be released on 7/9 instead of 6/25. Sorry but we need more time on the film transfer than originally planned for. Thank you for understanding. https://www.shoutfactory.com/product/this-island-earth…
