It's a shame that a company wants your business so much, and yet, does not associate with it's own customers on the very forum dedicated to it's company. It would be great if Shout and Scream had an insider to make informative posts and would answer some questions from it's customers. Kino does this, and it is very much appreciated by their members. I, for one, think it would be great.

The first three Hammer titles are all with StudioCanal, no surprises there.

Easily the most interesting here is Fright, another StudioCanal title, and one which the Kino Insider suggested was likely no longer with StudioCanal in the US. This is the second instance of this after Fear No Evil, and makes me wonder if more titles he initially dismissed have actually ended up with Scream.

I was just looking at my DVD copy of Fright last night and wondering why it hadn't received a BD upgrade yet. Was also looking at Lamberto Bava's Macabre and wondering the same - hopefully that one is coming someday.

I'd really like to see one or two newer/not hammer titles in the mix. No issues with the releases and great for a lot of people, but it would be nice to have some variety.

Have you seen the lunacy that Insiders deal with on this forum?

I wasn’t aware of the cheesy greatness of these movies until just recently, and missed out on buying the original release during the short window of time it was in print.
I picked these up. They are sweet.

Cliff MacMillan used to post a lot more on these forums back when I was still a lurker. I'm sure he had a few issues with people that drove him away. Considering the outrage many people demonstrate towards Shout Factory for various reasons, I'm not surprised he stays away. Even the Kino Lorber guy loses his cool a few times at the stupid shit he has to put up with.

This just made my day! I just finished watching all of the Universal Classic Monster Movies and planned on starting the Hammer films next month. I almost dropped over $80 for OOP DVD's for two of these just this past weekend. I'm glad I waited!

For those in a similar bind, DO NOT buy DVDs of any of these, they will definitely be coming from Scream at some point:

To the Devil... A Daughter
Demons of the Mind

Similarly, it is almost certain that Scream have these via Hammer (though admittedly they may not choose to release all of them, particularly the bottom 3):

The Mummy's Shroud
Rasputin, the Mad Monk
X The Unknown
The Lost Continent
Four Sided Triangle
Slave Girls (AKA Prehistoric Women)
The Viking Queen

On top of this, Scream are strongly rumoured to have a couple of Warner Hammer titles, specifically Curse of Frankenstein and Crescendo, but could have more of the unreleased ones (remains to be seen if they'd ever consider CE double-dips for some of the previously released Warner Hammer titles):

Curse of Frankenstein
Crescendo
Hysteria
She
Moon Two Zero

Finally, there are a few titles they could have from other deals, though Mill Creek seem to have cornered the Sony Hammer market:

The Nanny (Fox)
Shadow of the Cat (Universal)
The Damned (Sony)
The Stranglers of Bombay (Sony)
The Terror of the Tongs (Sony)

Jeff Nelson threw some shade at this board on ShockWaves’ podcast (as did the hosts) after last year’s SDCC panel, so I’m not surprised they don’t post here.
