Pink case for sure. Even goes with their new cover art. Outside of the Halloween set having black cases, have they ever done colored cases for a release?

Awesome! I was JUST mulling over picking up a DVD of The Blob earlier this week as I wasn't sure we'd ever get a new release, and I didn't want to pay for the TT version. Great news, I'd like to give myself credit for willing it into existance.

Also totally onboard for the Devil Rides Out. Waiting patiently for To the Devil a Daughter, my personal fave.

Not that I'm aware of no, but this one just works so well together that I thought I'd throw it out there while there was still time. I feel like the commissioned art would look even nicer with a pink case peeking out as well. Make it a first run sort of deal. Get a version with a slip and get a pink case. Get a version down the road without the slip and get the standard blue case. In theory it seems simple enough.

This is a good idea, I should probably shamefully order Mean Girls...

I was going to include the Amityville 90s sequels but I've read on here that they're no longer with Paramount, if they ever were in the first place.
I can see DANGER DIABOLIC and POSSESSION OF JOEL DELANEY for Scream, and LOOKING FOR MR. GOODBAR and MOMMIE DEAREST for SHOUT proper.

There was a cheap Omen boxset in stores a year ago or so. Maybe there still is? I often debated on picking it up. Depending on what they have in store for this, I’d happily buy it.

Good news about The Blob too, in my opinion. Been too long since anything Scream announced appealed to me.

Between this, Kino, and VS... October is gonna be expensive.

Me too, but there isn't a good track record for that happening (REC, Critters, etc.).

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**

You may want to say your prayers after this news: THE OMEN BLU-RAY COLLECTION (DELUXE EDITION) is rising on Oct 15th and just in time before Halloween!

Housed in new collectible rigid slipcover case and packed with hours of chilling special features, this 5-disc set includes 1976’s masterpiece The Omen (4K remaster of the film from the original negative by 20th Century-Fox); 1978’s Damien: Omen II, 1981’s The Final Conflict, 1991’s Omen IV: The Awakening (making its Blu-ray debut) and the 2006 remake of the original The Omen. The franchise stars Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, William Holden, Lee Grant, Rossano Brazzi, Sam Neill, Mia Farrow, Liev Schreiber and more.

Each film inside the slipcover packaging will receive a dedicated blu-ray case featuring original theatrical artwork. (Similar to how we presented the Critters box-set last year).

Only 10,000 units of the set are being made.

New & existing extras from prior home entertainment releases are in progress and will be announced in full on a later date. However, we can confirm today that we are including archival advertising material (trailers, radio & TV spots) that were not on the prior releases and new interviews with David Seltzer, Holly Palance, Lee Grant, Robert Foxworth, Elizabeth Shepherd and Brain Taggart.

Special Website Offer: If you order directly from us @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/…/the-o...eluxe-e… we are offering an exclusive gift-with-purchase where you will also receive a free 28.5" X 16.5" rolled lithograph of the new artwork, along with your set. The lithos themselves are only being made at limited quantity of 666.

Very cool. Count me in for sure. Now I'm just trying to decide whether to go with Shout or wait for Amazon to post a listing so I can use some gift cards to knock the price down.

EDIT FOR PRICE: Listing at Shoutfactory.com is $63.97.

EDIT #2: Pic of the Litho.

It's worse than that. A handful of scenes near the beginning were actually shot in standard def 480i (60 fields per second) video, which means not only will these shots have to be upscaled, they would either have to alter those scenes' frame-rate down to 24 or present the entire disc as 1080i/60.

Most of the Dreamworks titles that were handled by Paramount, before, remained with Paramount (Dreamworks Animation would be an exception, that's all controlled by Universal). I'm not positive about whether the rights to the Ringu films were purchased in perpetuity or not, but I think Arrow would have secured the US rights if they were available.

I think it depends on the title. The last preorders I received a few weeks early were the April preorders. Their recent releases have only been arriving a few days early.
