LOL; first release is just a few years old, came with a slipcover, and is terrific.

But please, don't let that stop you from wanting to add to Shout's extensive line of superfluous do-overs.

Man. Just when I thought the old NOES set was as ugly as it could get, WB out does themselves with this new one.

Close up of Freddy's face and glove. What more do you want?

I'd be surprised to see a CE of Poltergeist. There's some pretty harsh rumors/stories out there about why Spielberg doesn't want people talking about the film, and not just the stuff about who directed it.

Since Arrow Video's region 'A' release of The Stuff has gone out of print, I'm getting the feeling Scream Factory may have picked it up... That would be nice.

Shout dosen't have a deal with Lakeshore/RJL, so an eventual reissue would probably come through Vinegar Syndrome or Kino Lorber.

Just a heads up! It looks like Scream’s Blu Ray release of “Evilspeak” has or is going OOP. DiabolikDVD mentioned it and they have a few copies left in their stock for a decent price. If you want to get it, now is the chance!

I actually wouldn't mind if SF did their own release for Terror in the Aisles. I'd love to have it with lossless audio and it's own packaging/artwork. It'd be much better than just being thrown in as an extra on the Universal release for Halloween 2 IMO.

Universal was able to include Terror in the Aisles in their Halloween 2 BD because they have resources to fork over serious cash to Paramount and Fox for including footage from the really big titles they normally wouldn't licence out. Even though Scream has released some of the titles featured in the doc, the costs of all the others would be too massive to take a financial risk on.

Good point. That hadn't occurred to me.

It’s possible that this could be one last cash grab from WB before licensing the series out.

That would be that less than 1% chance I am hoping for, but not holding my breath over.

I think this has been mentioned before, but don't remember the story here. Either way, if it is going OOP and you don't have it, I would recommend it. It was one of my first SF buys during one of their good sales years ago. It was a blind buy for me and I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. Personally, I liked that it was something different. Wasn't what I expected at all. This is a terrible attempt at an explanation but I wouldn't even necessarily classify it as a traditional "horror". It was almost more of a fantasy/thriller/drama? Either way, worth checking out.

Ahhhh, already having a hard time finding it anywhere for a decent price!

It went out of print a month or two ago quietly and was mentioned here and in the OOP thread. Diabolik obtaining some remaining stock was likely the last we'll see of that film being reasonably priced for a little while.

Evilspeak is such a good film, grab that while you can. It kind of reminds me of the premise in Carrie. Kid is bullied and takes brutal revenge. This one being in a military school. Throw in some satanism, flesh eating wild boars, and Clint Howard and you have yourself a gem of a movie. One of my personal favorites and definetly a necessity!
