They do have the sequels, but there are issues with the film elements. I believe they mentioned the issues last year during Comic Con.

Since we are speculating on the upcoming Scream announcements, I still say I'll be disappointed if there is no announcement of a collectors edition of Poltergeist. Of all of my movies that's dying for an upgraded treatment, it's that one.

Give me Grotesque starring Linda Blair, and the slasher Home Sweet Home, and I’ll be quite happy. I’ve been told they’re with MGM, so, unless elements are a problem, why not?

And yea a Child’s Play 2 CE. But I don’t see that happening.

Agreed. Current release from WB is simply awful, but it was worst on DVD. Christ, that was horrible. I hope two things: at least 2K scan from OCN and that it would be (also) released someone else than SF, let's say Arrow perhaps.

Why not? Doesn’t SF have licensing agreements with Universal?

If SF can't get Nightmare on Elm Street, I hope either they or Warner Archive can at least give us Freddy's Nightmares. I don't care if it's a DVD or upscaled on a Blu-Ray, it's never going to look good due to its video editing.

I'd prefer it on Scream Factory to Arrow. Scream has the sequels and did a solid job with them. May as well make it 3/3!

My Amazon pre-order from May of This Island Earth is $21.96, so it was cheaper than the price Amazon currently has for it.

My pre-orders of Silent Hill, Lust for a Vampire, and The Reptile are still $19.99.

Edit: I see you were talking about discount-at-checkout. I was really hoping Amazon had quit those. So much easier for them to just lower the price, especially on pre-orders.

Warner is releasing a new edition of their Nightmare set.. any hope of Scream Factory releasing a comprehensive Nightmare set have pretty much dropped to <1% in my mind.
