(off the top of my head, more will be added in the future)

[Show spoiler]The Evictors

Four Weddings and a Funeral CE

Deadly Force

Kalifornia CE

Legally Blonde collection

It would be wise to pick up these ASAP before the post announcement frenzies start and all the scalpers hoard them. There's also the chance if some of them are meeting sales expectations, they'll renew and keep some in print or reissue them with new transfers like they did with Ninja III.
While I understand the appeal of speculative lists like this, all this does is further fan the flames of panic, and worse, spread misinformation as folks often glance at posts like these in passing and instead of reading the full thing, see the list and the words "out of print" and automatically assume the worst that they are already out of print. Given the number of titles already announced as going out of print folks should focus on the titles they actually want and purchase titles when they can. Adding 1/10th of Scream Factory's total releases to a post and stating that "these may be going out of print soon, so go buy them now!" isn't going to help anyone.

All films go out of print eventually. It's foolish to think that at least some of these won't see new editions from other studios at some point as well. As I've been saying all along. Buy what you can comfortably afford and don't worry about what may or may not happen. Even if these all sell out and go out of print, there have likely been enough copies sold that with time and patience copies will continue to show up for a while at reasonable prices. Not everything can be Dawn of the Dead, Brain Dead, or Hellraiser Deader and command a $100+ price tag.

The Projected Man

Naked Vengeance / Vendetta double feature
These three aren't MGM titles.

As far as the domestic home video rights to Escape from New York (and The Fog, The Howling, etc.) go, I think the connection between the film rights and the domestic home video rights were effectively severed when Coke sold the theatrical division of Embassy Pictures to Dino De Laurentiis and the home video division to Nelson Entertainment. I'm pretty sure MGM's home video rights are in perpetuity. I believe the chain of ownership goes something like this:

Film: AVCO Embassy > Embassy Pictures (Norman Lear /Jerry Perenchio > Coca-Cola) > De Laurentiis Entertainment Group > Carolco > Bankruptcy > StudioCanal

US Home Video: AVCO Embassy > Embassy Pictures (Norman Lear /Jerry Perenchio) > Embassy Home Entertainment (Norman Lear /Jerry Perenchio > Coca-Cola) > Nelson Entertainment > New Line Cinema > Crédit Lyonnais Bank > Epic Productions > PolyGram Filmed Entertainment (Phillips > Seagram & Sons) > MGM

Precisely this... Terror Train went OOP and there was a new edition from Scorpion with an improved scan within months.

Doesn't Arrow have a partnership with MGM now? I feel like some of the more popular titles going OOP like The Howling will end up with new editions there.

I thought the Scorpion scan was supposed to be an improvement but when I look at the comparisons on Caps-A-Holic, I personally think the Scream one looks better, unless they mixed up the labels and it's actually reversed.

I ordered another round of soon-to-be-OOP titles from Scream, The Curse double feature, Millennium/R.O.T.O.R., and The Dark Half. I look forward to watching them when they arrive in February...

This list keeps getting longer and longer.

Well I'm trying to make a good round up. Amityville set I ordered a few weeks ago from a 3rd party seller on Amazon for $20 and it came smashed, Amityville 1 loose and case messed up a little. Amityville 3 case had a slit in it like someone took a knife to it. Was packed exceptionally well for shipping, so obviously it was sent in shit shape. Ended up getting refunded all my money and kept the set. All I really cared about was the second one anyway and that one was mint. Win I guess?

Ordered Blacula and New Years Evil from Best Buy a couple weeks ago. Also bought a used copy of New Years Evil from a local store for $15, just in case Best Buy fails me. Good thing I bought the used one because Best Buy failed me and cancelled my order. Still may try to find Blacula.

Invaders From Mars... I found for $4 used at a thrift shop of all places. A day after the list was posted here for the first time. Usually you just find the same mainstream dump bin CGI garbage. Not that day apparently.

Monkey Shines, The Nest, and Curse 1 and 2 I have at FYE waiting to ship, since the 31st of Oct.

Still need Scarecrows. Everything else major I'd want already I already have. Good luck collectors. Looks like a lot of these are coming back in stock in places. Get them while you can.

These are the OOP titles that I've ordered so far.

Dead of Winter
The Howling II
Without Warning
Squirm
The Nest

I want to grab the Curse double feature and maybe one or two others, but UK labels have put out most of these titles such as Swamp Thing, Blacula Collection, Monkey Shines, The Dark Half (I own this recently released Eureka edition) so for some titles there isn't that need to grab everything, only those that don't have a release anywhere else or where the bonus features make it a more attractive package over an import. I've also realised that I don't need to have Blu-rays for all movies, Species II is a perfect example of this, where I'd be perfectly content with grabbing the DVD, and that's it I ever want to rewatch the movie.

I think they do (or did) because Blood Bath and Last House on the Left are MGM titles.

Arrow, Kino, Olive, Scorpion and MVD all have active MGM relationships in the US. I might even be forgetting a few.

Downside, only Arrow and Olive ever get wide retail distribution.

Anyone have any insight with regard to the question I asked a couple of pages back regarding Scream's decision to use DTS-HD Master Audio tracks on their releases exclusively as opposed to, say, Dolby TrueHD? Or would this be something I'd be better off asking the distributor/label directly?

I believe you have to pay a higher licensing fee to use Dolby TrueHD. That's why DTS took over in the Blu-ray era.

Interesting; thanks again, Dr. West...

I knew there HAD to be a reason why each of their releases come with a Master Audio track and not a TrueHD variant.
