The titles on post one are what were confirmed by the Insider that has posted here from time to time. His initial announcement stated that these titles would be selling out in 2020 and then going out of print. It's possible that the license for these two titles won't end until closer to the end of the year so Shout doesn't see the need to discount them just yet. My advice is to still buy them now if you are wanting them or you may run the risk of them quietly selling out. If copies remain late into the year however I would expect that we'll see these films added during the next batch of out of print sales.

I placed an order for more than twenty Blu-rays on April 28th, and thus far, I've received four of them-- two in one package, and two in another. The rest are still "pending," which, in this case, likely means that they are back-ordered and will ship out to me when they are in stock again.

I really wish that SF would list back-ordered titles on their website as being back-ordered, rather than almost always showing them as "in-stock" to unsuspecting customers... and I have politely, respectfully, made that request to SF a few times... and I'm still hoping that they will eventually do it.
Yeah, I'm a bit worried. "Prison" was in my order on May 1st, and I notice today that it says sold out. I hope I get a copy since I paid for one & it was still in print when I ordered on that date.

Yeah mine showed “Backordered” for a few days before moving to an estimated 5/25 delivery date.

As far as I know, "Love at First Bite / Once Bitten" has NOT been confirmed to go OOP. Or have I missed something?

well I must say im bummed out. Usually I buy all my SF titles from Amazon Canada and this time I went to place an order for 3 titles from their OOP sale directly through SF and go through checkout and "they don't ship to post office boxes" in Canada so that sucks, maybe its time i look into a mail re-direct service

Once you pay for a redirect service it would be cheaper to get them through Amazon Canada.

thats just it, it would be cheaper to just buy from Amazon, but its my fault as the title i was most looking to buy was Jeepers Creepers for $7.99USD as its going for $128CND on Amazon canada right now. My choices are either check ebay or go for the MGM version for $9.99CND

You will receive the Blu-rays that you ordered. I have been in the same place, in the past, that you are in now, and I got my Blu-rays. Actually, I just received shipping confirmation, today, for three Blu-rays, that I ordered two weeks ago, that are now officially out of print.

If you were allowed by the SF website to order a particular Blu-ray, such as "Prison," then that means that one of those discs has been reserved for you. Yes, the disc is now out of print, but at the time you ordered it, it was still in print, so even though it may take a while for you to get it, due to back-ordering and the virus safety measures, you will still get it.

For any people who are experiencing worry or anxiety about titles which they ordered during recent SF sales, but which are now officially OOP at the site, I just want to reassure you: I received a shipping confirmation today for a few titles which fit that exact description. It took some time, but they are coming!

I ordered all of these titles (and a few others which will eventually come, and a few which I received about about a week ago) on the 28th of April, and they are now on their way to me, even though some of them are now officially OOP at the site. Everyone, you will get your discs! Hang in there!

I am waiting on multiple orders to ship. The oldest one on April 8th sure would be nice to ship though. Seems to be taking forever...

More delays:

Tattoo has moved to 25th August

How to Make a Monster and War of the Colossal Beast to 8th September

Obviously current events had a role to play in this, though given this isn't the first delay for Monster (and I can't see it being a title with many extras), it's tempting to assume they're having some issues with the Arkoff titles, if not legal then surely something to do with materials.

Not unexpected as most of their titles have been postponed recently. Still, at least they are coming out (hopefully). It's been a little quiet on the catalogue front, but hopefully things get a little better in the coming months.

It’s £12.76 from wowhd - which is where I got it from. It’s backordered at the moment but you can still place an order and they will dispatch it when ithey get more stock.

They already have an HD master for How to Make a Monster streaming on shoutfactorytv.com and Amazon Prime Video, so I suspect it's probably just a staffing issue somewhere in the production chain.

Would people be opposed to a Universal Horror set that contained Hold That Ghost, Abbott and Costello meet the Killer Boris Karloff, Abbott and Costello meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Abbott and Costello go to Mars? Or would that be too off for the series?
I'd really like to get these films without having to buy all of the A&C films. Maybe Shout could just do their own A&C meet the Monsters set. The Universal Monsters set already came with three copies of A&C Meet Frankenstein, what's one more?

Wow, that order must be seriously back-ordered. What were the titles?

As patient and understanding as I try to be, as a loyal customer, with Shout/Scream Factory, I keep coming back to this question-- why won't they list back-ordered titles on their website as simply being back-ordered, rather than as in stock? This dilemma has been going on for years, long before the pandemic or anything to do with it. Customers could still order the titles, with the "back-ordered" status, and at least then, they would be placing their orders with some informed idea of what awaited them. I have asked SF do this, periodically, and respectfully, over the years, and their responses have indicated that they think it's a very good idea, but it still hasn't happened, years after my requests....

it's not the answer you want to hear, but ultimately it comes down to money. if they list a title as "back ordered," then customers are less likely to buy it. if they list it as "in stock" and customers buy it, some of those customers will want to cancel after a while, and some will stick it out and wait. personally, if i'm looking to pick up stuff from deep discount and it's listed as "back ordered," then i go looking elsewhere because i'm impatient.

I was going to make another order to take advantage of the code, but Shout is taking too bloody long to get these orders sent out. I think I'm just going to go with Amazon instead. I'd be only saving a buck or two with Shout anyway.
