Yeah I’ve had it happen a couple times too. I already had Cherry Falls saved in my shopping cart (added it literally last night lol) so when the price drop came (went from $22.99 to $16.99) I was like omg no way. Only for the price to go back up when I actually clicked on the link. Lol.

I can be a very patient person, and I'd like to think I've been very patient waiting for a UK Blu-ray release of the original My Bloody Valentine. Have decided to get a copy of the Scream Factory release from Deep Discount.

On a side-note, a local cinema is doing a one-off screening of the same film next Sunday night. Haven't seen the film in full before (just bits of it from a showing of it on Horror Channel UK a few years ago).

The SF blu-ray of My Bloody Valentine is well worth getting. The transfer is impeccable and the uncut footage was taken from a WAY better source than the Lionsgate DVD/Blu-ray so the scenes blend pretty perfectly with the rest of the film. Plus it’s absolutely stacked with a ton of extras. Honestly one of my favourite Scream Factory releases.

Two other Scream Factory releases which I've been (patiently) waiting for a UK Blu-ray release of, are The Seduction and Superstition (just double-checking, but did Shout license those from Studiocanal? My Bloody Valentine from Paramount?).

Also been thinking for a while about getting the Shout! Blu-ray double feature of Naked Vengeance and Vendetta.

Not a chance for me. Delivery to Canada will be a minimum 2 weeks, if I'm lucky. My package needs to reach Canada (at least a week), go through customs inspection, and then forwarded to me (another week).

To add even more love the MBV release, the special features for this title were some of the best SF has ever produced. I had just as much fun watching the interviews as I did watching the film....

Yes, both The Seduction and Superstition were licensed from SC. My Bloody Valentine was licensed from Paramount.

SF's release of Superstition features a new 2K scan that's really nice and filmic. It's honestly one of their best encodes. I was waiting forever for that one to hit blu-ray as well and their edition is pretty great. Not exactly loaded with extras but it's worth picking up. I'm actually surprised nobody in the UK has released that or The Seduction. I have both SF releases and while it doesn't look quite as good as Superstition, it has quite a lot of extras and could've easily been branded as a collector's edition.

Good film but I don't see that this is from a new scan. My import looks fairly decent.

These single release drops are annoying —- I can’t imagine they are offloading as many early without a second to bring to free shipping

Dropping this latest exclusive during a sale is smart however as this latest release could be bundled with a sale title to help sweeten the deal.
