Went ahead and contacted them, I mean it's obviously not the end of the world it's movies we're talking about here, but I'm really excited for The Witch so I'd rather not have to wait that much longer due to the other films getting delayed.

I was looking at some WB & New Line horror titles that could get a Scream Factory release (Not counting the Elm Street films) in the near future.

Razorback (1984)
Dr. Giggles (1992)
The Hidden 2 (1993)
Skeeter (1993)
The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996)
Little Nicky (2000) - I can dream
Lost Souls (2000)
Queen of the Damned (2002)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
Highwaymen (2004)

I almost put down Spawn (1997), but I feel like WB will release it on 4K UHD by themsleves.

I could see a few of these happening.

While not a horror, I really would love to see Suburban Commando. The Hulkamania is real.

Warner only owns Exorcist II, Morgan Creek owns 3.

That being said, I would love for 3 to get a 4K release.

These 2 legitimately surprise me by their absence. Feardotcom and Xtro are two other films that I'm a bit surprised by their continued absence.

Feardotcom popped up on amazon video in HD recently. Maybe it's coming.

I'd love to see Feardotcom and Strangeland released during the same timeframe... Could make for a fun turn of the century internet double feature.

I'm still surprised that Scream Factory opted to go with Ghost Ship instead of feardotcom when all those initial Warner titles started trickling out.

I would definitely buy Exorcist II and Exorcist III on 4K Day 1.

I will buy the next lot for more $$$ than that. 100 blu-rays easily packs well into a Banker's Box which can be purchased individually and shipped for about $10. I'll cover fees, taxes, shipping etc. and making it worth your effort. Plus you will be supporting a fine member of this forum.
I've been debating whether I should list a bunch of unwanted Blu-rays individually or sell them as a lot. I think I'll have better luck selling them as a lot, plus it would be a lot less work lol Got a bunch of 4Ks too. I the 4Ks will go first IMO. The format seems to be taking off now.

As always, it's a time vs money thing. It could take weeks, months, or years to sell every item depending on pricing. I have personally sold two lots of 100+ movies myself at a very low cost per title return with little effort. Per title sales end up taking up so much more time when you add up the emails, packaging, runs to the post office, fees, confirmations, etc.

I'm just saying give the forum a chance before you dump them at a shop looking to flip them as soon as you walk out the door. I would definitely buy out an entire lot here on the sale thread. I have before. For the right price, I can pick and choose what I want with little regard for the overspill. Trust me, bankers boxes are the way to go, just pack them tight with fill, and like a 1/2 roll of packing tape and your golden.

I missed out on a ton of releases as I was buying alot back in the day but then stopped. You think it’s work buying them now or waiting as we might get upgrades to 4K? I’m not even sure if they still have rights to certain films or if Kino got some films and releasing their versions.

Any help?

My opinion of this movie fell off drastically between first and second viewings (spaced apart by many years). I remembered vaguely that I really liked it the first time around, bought the SF BD, and was very disappointed (esp. with the ending). The house was not nearly as eerie as I remembered, and all the underground stuff not nearly as cool...LOL

Was Sword and the Sorcerer some kind of grail that people had been requesting for years? I ask because, frankly, I'm puzzled that Shout decided to give it the UHD treatment, especially considering the source materials. I guess if this can get a 4K release anything can.

I watched about 2/3 of the film over three sittings. I just couldn't get into it. The PQ was just decent. I'd be interested to see a side by side comparison with a 1080p edition just to see if there actually are differences. In any case, blind buys are always risky and you can't win 'em all.

I've been asking for it for a few years.

It's been just over a month since Scream announced their last pair of site exclusives, so perhaps we'll see one or two more revealed this week? In any case, hopefully Battletruck is on the cards.

They're fixated on biker flicks for the Exclusives. Hopefully they'll break from that next go-round. Battletruck or Grotesque would be cool.

It was a fairly big box office hit in 1982. It was released in the same timeframe as Conan and Beastmaster and it's domestic box office gross was almost equal to Conan.
