Skyline was awful on blu...Now on UHD... C'mon Shout you can do better than that...

Wasn't there something wrong with Brotherhoods disc when it came out, what 2 years ago?? It took months to fix it and now we have the UHD...Well...we can probably be confident that the upcoming disc will not be f'd up, no???

I am interested in Highwaymen and Morning After, so nice to see a new to blu title, unlike The Haunting, ugh....

I've got enough Martial Arts films for the next 20 years with all these releases the last year or so, so pass on Tiger Cage, but nice to see another new to blu US title.

Hopefully we get some older, meaning not released in the last 3 years, UHD titles and please bring on more new to blu!!

BTW...what did Cinema say now to get banned???

Curious about this as well. He was getting into it slightly with bergman864, but it wasn't anything too crazy, so doubt it was that. It's a big forum, I'm sure someone saw what happened.

Ok, so I am just feeling dumb with Shout's new website....for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to change my damn password. Can't do it from my 'account', nor can I find a 'forgot password' link anywhere? I guess they are going to email me a code every time I want to log in?

Brotherhood had messed up subtitles. I guess they were simplified or something. I am glad i waited on this one. i will just get the 4k Once i hear the issue didn't carry over.

You can't as they don't have that feature available at the moment.

Looks like no extras on the Highwaymen release. I so wanted a commentary from Harmon…

They don't announce features until about a month before release. Probably won't know if there are any features or not until mid April I would say.

Looking forward to the Sidney Lumet film The Morning After. I've never seen it and am a huge Lumet and Jeff Bridges fan.

I love this movie, but I'm not a fan of double feature discs, myself. I'm happy this is getting a US release, but luckily I'm region free and got the Imprint release.

I'd say it's worth picking up when it gets a price drop.

I just pre-ordered The Haunting (1999) 4K along with some other titles directly from Shout's website. And while it's not a Collector's Edition, I was surprised to see that they are offering a limited poster with it. That's something that I thought they only did for CE's. Is this a first, I wonder, and might they do this with future non-CE's?

Besides the inclusion of a slipcover...what makes something a "Collector's Edition" over not?

I think the extent of special features is a consideration as well.

Seems to be some combination of the movie’s popularity and what sort of special features can be created for it. Back when Pet Sematary 2 came out, Scream indicated that Mary Lambert’s involvement in the special features pushed that release to be a Collector’s Edition.

There may be some licensing considerations as well.

It probably is limited. It's in the site exclusives tab. The new web design is just so poor that it doesn't seem to indicate any limited number for any of the site exclusives. SF has yet to acknowledge the release on social media, but perhaps they will today.

Can't blame them. Film is awful.

Based on my VinSyn and Severin collections… that’s not exactly a dealbreaker…

FINALLY!

More 1950's Horror/Sci-Fi films on Blu-ray from Scream Factory! Thank You!

I guess my "peaceful messages" to the feeble Earth-people finally convinced their puny brains...

[Show spoiler]

Totally excited for Conquest Of Space (1955) / I Married A Monster From Outer Space (1958) on Blu-ray!

I'm also stoked for Demon Of Paradise (1987), so I can ditch my old double feature DVD, but I can't locate it on Shout Factory's website.

I'm guessing they took down the listing because it wasn't intended to be announced yet?
