Thanks for the reply. Hopefully, Shout will do another boxsets sale in a few months time (shall be interesting to see what price some of the boxsets I want to get are at that point (especially the Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman boxset).

USA Kiss of the Vampire and Frankenstein Created Woman

Have been interested in getting Shout's Collector's Edition Blu-ray release of Kiss of the Vampire for a few weeks now, after finding out about it (it might have been while checking out another, similar film that Shout have released as part of the Scream Factory line). Have also looked at the Blu-ray.com review, and it mentions:

Hammer horror is so addictive. Once you grab a few, you'll need to grab 'em all.

Kind of want to check out the Don double pack. At least SF are back releasing a double feature again compared to paying around $60 for Blackbelt and Bloodfist. People will buy them no matter what because of the artificial scarcity and it's a proven successful model that works for SF. But these are still decently expensive at the moment for what are 'non-essentials' for me as I'm trying to cut back on that kind of spending. If one of them were Ring of Fire, I'd probably be more eager.

I think down the road Scream Factory will release Megan & Cocaine Bear on UHD filling in the gap Universal left with no UHD release. Thoughts ?

I might be wrong, but it really looked like a tape master to me when I watched the DVD recently.
It was a tape master in the Turbine Psycho Legacy Collection upscaled on BD. Looked awful. Not something I'd ever watch again though.

Thanks for the reply. The earliest memory of a Hammer Dracula film I saw on TV was Dracula: Prince of Darkness. Still haven't got Brides of Dracula because of how confusing it's been determining which release is as a whole the best one out there (based on the comments/observations I've read on here). Need to have a look at the list of Hammer films Shout have released on Blu-ray. At the moment, just Kiss of the Vampire and Frankenstein Created Woman that I'm interested in getting (especially the former).

USA Updates on three Shout!/Scream Factory titles

Might be having a senior moment here (had one or two of those for a while, then nothing for a bit, before having one earlier on here), but will there be slipcovers for The Strangler and The Morning After? I saw the Facebook post by Scream Factory on their page earlier today, the update on the technical information and extras for Private Parts, and saw that the picture of the title had a slipcover.

All three titles with new scans and a small but interesting list of interview extras (no complaints here). Have looked at the trailer for Private Parts. Don't want to jinx it, but I think I shall be getting a copy of each of these Shout releases. More of the same please Shout (ie. announcements of similar films).

Interesting that they announced the extras for The Morning After on Scream's Facebook page, since the spine appears to suggest it's a regular Shout title rather than a Scream one. Might this be something that's changed prior to release?

None of the three are Collector’s Editions, so I wouldn’t expect slips for any of them. I don’t even see a slip on the Private Parts image but maybe they had an image with a slip up earlier.

I'm with you on Ring of Fire. Its my favorite Don movie. We won't be seeing it anytime soon though. At least not until someone can get the rights to the PM Entertainment library.

Hell yeah! Looks like it’ll be a “definitive” release. Assuming the 4K is solid with no issues.

Rewatched Sorority House for the first time in 20+ years, it ****ing sucks. A nothingburger of a generic blatant Halloween rip off mid 80s slasher. Less than 80 minutes and I was still checking runtime to see how much was left. Literally nothing even happens till about 45 minutes in, which with this movie, is most of the movie. $30 for this is ****ing criminal. Transfer looks good, but the movie sucks.
