I ordered The Burning from Amazon hoping I’d get a slip and no dice. Back it goes. Not paying full price if it’s already slipless. Brotherhood of Wolves had a slip but it looked like a wolf got a hold of it.

The one movie I keep hoping to come from Scream is The Philadelphia Experiment (1984). When you guys are posting all your wants and wishes nobody ever mentions it. I'm not the only one right?
It was a pretty popular movie. What's with it's MIA status on BD? It's a New World title I believe.

I'm used to my ole trusty DVD of The Philadelphia Experiment, but it sure would be nice to have a shiny new Blu instead!!

That’s when ordering from Shout/Scream direct. That never applied to other retailers.

Recently Shout started manufacturing discs with the slipcover not shrinkwrapped. It’s possible places like amazon just throws them away sometimes. I prefer when the whole thing is shrunk, as long as they don’t overdo it and bend all the corners.

I'm pretty sure they guarantee slips for three months. It hasn't been three months yet, has it? July 11th release, wasn't it?

Are you buying it to have the movie or just for the slip? Sending it back if you like the movie & want it on 4K just because it doesn’t have a slip seems kind of silly. The movie isn’t worth less because it has no slip.

As said by someone above, the 3 months guarantee only applies if you order direct from Shout Factory. When it comes to getting a slip from Amazon or anywhere, I think it depends on how popular the movie is. The Burning is a very popular release, if you look at how many were sold this past month on Amazon, it says 200+ compared to Motel Hell which only sold 50+ this past month and they both came out only a couple weeks apart.

I don’t watch the movies, I just stare at the slip.

I have all the other Scream Factory 4K’s that have slips so I’d like this one to have a slip as well.

To some people it is worth less if it hasn't gotten the accessories.

I'm pretty sure that SF sends out copies with slips until that three month period is up. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the above statement is flawed.

Yeah I was always under the impression that any copies they press in the first three months of release would have a slip. So if a release sold out within a month, the second pressing would still get a slip, but if it doesn't sell out until four months then the next pressing wouldn't have a slip.
