Was hoping you had some January leaks...

You'd think SF might want to get ahead of the curve and announce them tomorrow (it being Halloween and all), but I suspect they'll probably pass up the opportunity.

I haven't really looked as thoroughly this past month, and then my monitor stopped working last week, so I had to rely on my phone only (I'm using a tv now as a temp solution). So yeah, sorry guys, probably no leaks from me this month. I'm also hoping for Halloween day announcements.

In for Thinner eventually, glad I procrastinated getting that one on blu. Nice that it qualified to be a collectors edition too

It was rumored but so nice to see it actually happening. Another killer month for Shout!

And two key (and missing on HD) 70's Bronsons. My goodness.

Feels like a late-2010's slate. A bunch of new-to-Blu titles, a CE upgrade of a OOP title, and not a 4K reissue in sight.

Wonder why Funeral Home is labeled as special edition instead of collectors edition? Happy it’s finally getting released though.

I still would expect at least one 4K, but yeah, these are my favorite kinds of months. I love seeing all of these Warner Archive DVD titles get upgraded since Warner Archive themselves aren't really bothering much with stuff from the 70s and 80s.

So what exactly is the difference between a 'Special Edition' and a 'Collector's Edition'?

This is the first I've noticed the 'Special Editions' at Shout/Scream...

My hunch is that "Special Editions" are just normal releases we've always gotten but now include a time limited slip to encourage folks to buy immediately. Collectors editions are the usual filled to the gills editions we're used to. Special editions might have a few special features butnow also come with a slip.

Scream should really release Site Exclusives in pairs. Waiting to see if they announce another one in a week before ordering.
