If I remember correctly both were part of WB's Largo deal, they chose to release Judgment Night via WAC, but WB released Timecop with Bloodsport on a double feature disc.

Oh well, guess I should just be grateful that Kino Lorber is releasing these at least...

...Even though The Colossus Of New York (1958) will be a "double-dip" for me.

Im not aware, what's happening to shout factory? How is the ship sinking? Loss of business? Sales down? Just curious

I saw Fear City pop up on the Shout channel on Tubi recently and had that feeling it was going to be on disc too. Don't recall the other movie on there, but it could be there.

A couple weeks ago; I was able to meet Felissa Rose at a Horror Con in Denver. I was not expecting how nice she was. I walked up to her table and before I could even say "Hello", she just asks "Can I give you a hug?"; completely caught me off-guard. The whole time I was with her, she just kept saying how appreciative she is of the fans that come by. And I also got two photos with her; one with her smiling and one of her doing "the face". If you get a chance to meet her: DO IT!

I watched "Sleepaway Camp" for the first 6 or 7 years ago - and it's one of the few times a movie I heard so much about actually exceeded my expectations. It's so wacky and fun with a great ending!

Definitely a little different from other slashers (like the kids and teens are played by kids and teens; not 30 year olds haha!). And that ending really sticks with you! I still remember watching it the first time and my jaw just hitting the floor at the ending.

No spoilers, but years before SLEEPAWAY CAMP, Sondra Locke starred in A REFLECTION OF FEAR. She wanted to do a final scene that was similar to what became the ending of SLEEPAWAY CAMP, but Columbia Pictures wouldn't allow it.

Received my sale order, all three in pristine shape and all three with slips. And on the site they were pictured without slips. So that’s cool.

Just got this email….

Quote:
Greetings, 4K fans!

Thank you so much for your recent order!

Our 4K UHD Sale far exceeded our expectations, resulting in a lot of orders for our warehouse to pack and process.

Because of this, it's taking our warehouse a little longer than usual to get your order out the door — but we can assure you, our team is working diligently to get your films into your hands (or rather, 4K players)!

We anticipate all orders will be shipped by this time next week.

Please keep an eye on your inbox — you will receive an email with tracking once your order ships from our warehouse.
It’s almost like if you price your product reasonably, people will buy.

I don't complain about the delay if the price is fair, but I don't understand why they charge if an order is not shipped yet!

The Tenant sold out from the Going OOP section. I'd been watching the page a few days ago and it just said In Stock without listing a low #. If it had showed a low # I'd have grabbed it. Not a single copy on ebay (which is super odd) and on Amazon they want 30+. Damn.

I picked up four titles going OOP Road Games have had this film on my back log for years, Graveyard Shift, The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid, and Talk to Me the 2007 forgotten music biopic starring Don Cheadle.

Good choice; it's one of my personal favorites. IIRC, back in the day it sort of flew under the radar. I saw one brief ad for it on TV, then nothing, until it finally showed up at the local Blockbuster. They had one copy, which was always checked out...but, oh joy, they also had an entire wall display filled with nothing but Spice World.

Imprint released a four disc BD set of Jim Sheridan films. Besides The Boxer, it also includes My Left Foot, The Field, and In the Name of the Father, with all sorts of extras. My understanding is that all Imprint BDs are region free (someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that). It's OOP, though, and costs a bundle (at least on Amazon US).

For future reference you can do the cart trick and add 3000 and it'll update it with how many are actually left. There is also a possibility Kino may have picked up The Tenant too, so you missing it could be a blessing in disguise.

They're not known as 'Scratch Factory' for nothing. Just got a 3-title order delivered today and 2 of the 4Ks had scratches on them. Not to mention they just threw my 3 movies into an envelope and called it good.. so the slips are all dinged to hell too.

I sent off an email tonight to get disc replacements, and I bet they'll want pics of them, which is REALLY hard to capture. We'll see how much of a battle they make it.

This happens all too often with them and I'm surprised you haven't experienced any of it. IMO, it HAS to be something with their manufacturing process, either with someone manually handling and pressing the discs into the cases or something on an automation line that's treating these things too roughly.
